Great Dryer!

Gas dryer

We’ve never used gas before with a dryer but I can say that the clothes come out perfectly dry and do not wrinkle or overheat. They feel so soft and do not get ruined from the heating element. So far, we are extremely happy with our purchase.

Feels warm and fuzzy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are very pleased with our new dryer. It replaces a Kenmore that was about 20 years old. The improvements are quite noticeable - clothes are treated more gently and the machine is significantly quieter. It is also quite large so bigger items like bedding are handled quite well. Overall a very good choice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The only problem I experienced so far was that when it was installed, the store did not advise me that the electrical cord was so short. I had to purchase an appliance extension cord. Other than that the dryer has worked well. I do notice that sometimes my sheets get bundled - they are dry just in one big bundle. If the load is too small the clothes dry but they are all twisted together so they wrinkle.

Electrolux Perfect Steam Gas Dryer 8 cu
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our first Electrolux and after having the older Whirlpool Duet frontloads and the largest LG glass top washer & dryer, which the Duet lasted 15 years with minor repairs and the LG basically rusted around the bleach container, the dryer glass lid top hinge broke immediately without a replacement part available, and LG didn't have warranty repair companies in our area, after years of those, we decided to invest in Electrolux, interestingly enough this brand is from Sweden and so far the units are washing clothes well, I really like the steam dryer touch-up, and quick dry feature. I don't miss the 9 cu dryer because this 8 cu is large enough for bedding. Units run smoothly.

This dryer doesn't just dry clothes—it actually takes care of them. Clothes come out evenly dried, soft, and surprisingly wrinkle-free thanks to the steam options. No more pulling out one damp sock while everything else is ready to fold. It handles everything from bulky comforters to delicate items with ease, and it's much quieter than I expected.
The controls are intuitive, the cycles make sense, and it seems to know exactly how long clothes need instead of baking them into submission. As a bonus, my towels are fluffy again instead of feeling like cardboard.
My only complaint? It has made me realize I've spent years arguing with mediocre dryers when the problem wasn't me—it was them.
If you're looking for a dryer that's efficient, gentle on clothes, and packed with features that actually make a difference, this Electrolux is a fantastic investment. It won't fold your laundry for you... but it gets close enough that you'll almost forgive it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far this has been an excellent upgrade to my previous dryer. It is larger, has tons of options and runs very quietly. The lint catch filter has a finer mesh and should eliminate a lot of the build up in the exhaust vent. No complaints so far I bought the Electrolux washer first based on the reviews and it has worked out great as well. Hopefully get another 10-15 years out of these machines with some maintenance.
