Perfect for home business! Et 3850
Now that my printer finally linked up to my computer it's perfect!
My laptop doesn't take a cd to install so it's by wifi. It miraculously finally happened! Been trying to do it throughout a week. To be fair I tried 3 or 4 different nights but it didn't take until tonight! It's everything I wanted!

Best Printer on the Market!
My husband had been after me to get rid of our HP Printer. I was having continued problems with it and then I had to enroll in their Instant Ink program which was a monthly fee and limited amount of pages to print. I had owned my printer for over 3 years and now I had to pay to print. Purchased the Epson and it was very easy to set up. Love the app as well. Print is very clear and love the scanner option as well.

AMAZING. I am an elementary school teacher and I am constantly printing things. My school does not have colored ink, so this was the best purchase out there. I can easily and quickly print from my room for fun colorful activities and room decorations.

My favorite printer
I've had my EcoTank ET-3850 for one year, and it is my favorite printer I have ever owned. It prints black and white as well as color very well. My wife and I print a pretty high volume, and we still have not had to refill the ink tanks. The ink savings with this line of printers makes it a huge money saver, and I recommend it to all of my friends.

Great Little Printer
Quick, easy set-up on my Macbook. Absolutely no issues since I installed it a couple of weeks ago. I've printed everything from Greeting cards to photos without issue. The machine is quiet and reasonably quick. It does everything I need.

I purchased this ET-3850 Eco Tank AIO after it was highly recommended by Kim Komando.It is a great machine, but installing the Software is a challenge. Epson tech support is very good, however, and had me up and running in no time. I highly recommend these Eco Tank AIOs.

Happily surprised at how easy a printer can be
This is our first cartridge free printer. Setup was simple, and even if it wasn't, the instructions were very clear and answered everything. The bottles of ink are so well designed I could have filled the printer on the white carpet. Very happy.

Nice Printer
I was an Epson ET-2760 and didn't like it because there wasn't an auto feed. It was a pain to make color copies if more than one page plus it was extremely slow. I still have the printer but not using anymore since I got the ET-3850. It is great and is so much faster printing. I have another black & white laser printer that I use for scanning so I have not tried scanning on my new printer. I do not use the fax on either of my printers. The Eco Tank is wonderful. I had my 1st Epson for over 2 years and it still has ink in it. So much more economical.

Great for ADF printer and setup is a breeze with the APP
I bought this new model last month. Installation was so simple, using "Epson Smart Panel' APP, which takes you right through the setup. No-spill ink tanks are great compared to the original Epson printers. Initiation takes about 10 minutes, and then a few more clicks and you are finished. You can then download the software. Epson ScanSmart has a nice fresh interface compared to Epson Scan. The ADF works well, but the paper must not be crinkled on the edges. When using ADF and double sided printing, you need to select paper size (Letter, A4 or Legal). The tray holds up to 250 sheets, which is a bonus for me in my home office.
Overall, this new EcoTank ET-3850 is a great home office machine for those who do not need FAX. There is a model ET-4850 that has FAX that has similar features to this

Excellent printers
If economical printing is your first priority, this is for you. You need to have reasonable expectations about everything else. There are printers which are faster, print pictures better, scan faster, etc, you can't have it all at this price. We have five of these in our clinic for everyday printing and a business-grade printer for our scanning and for when we need high-quality color copies.

User Friendly and Economical
This home office printer is not only economical friendly, but it is also user friendly.
When I first unpacked the printer, I noticed that the bottles of ink were all individually wrapped and sealed which I really liked because there was no risk of them leaking onto the printer in the box ..or even on my floor while I did the printer start up. The set up was a little time consuming because there were multiple steps (took about an hour or so to completely set up). Plus side about setting the printer up is that there are paper directions and also a cd if you need to visually see how everything works.
Some positive things I noticed were that the ink bottles can be stored and used to refill at a later date. There is abuser friendly app you can download onto your phone to control the printer from your phone as well as on the printer screen which I thought was super cool and convinent. The printer is compact so it can easily fit in your home office without being bulky and space consuming.
The only weird thing I noticed was that once the printer was filled with ink...the ink levels dropped significantly after just printing one paper which I thought was very odd since the ink was supposed to last thousands of papers. So we will see how that turns out. All in all I think it's a great investment for your home office use or even personal use especially if you have children with school work that needs printed out constantly. I enjoy it. Easy to use and great printing quality. The fax and scanner are also very simple to operate and can be done using your phone which is amazing.
