Convenience for on-the-go parents!
The Shyft DualRide stroller was hugely valuable to our family when our second baby came along. We wished we had one for our first! The second time around we were so much more active (as-is life with a 2 year old). When you're constantly in and out of the house with a newborn you need *every* possible advantage. And that’s what you get with the DualRide. There are two main draws:
1. You never have to wake a sleeping baby to get her out of the carseat
2. You don’t need to pack a stroller separately.
It’s really smooth and easy to push and the sunshade is brilliant because it comes down really far.
The only thing that was a bit tricky for us was when we used it in my husband’s truck which is quite tall. I am 5’2” so I wasn’t able to get it out on my own.
We have recommended this to loads of our friends, especially ones that were considering the Doona that has been on the market longer and has that brand awareness. The Shyft DualRide has more features, fits a smaller newborn, has a better pricepoint, and has removable wheels for air travel breakdown. Honestly we just love EvenFlo and this product is no exception.

Zippy, safe, sleek and versatile - we love our Shyft DualRide
We knew we liked the look and apparent functionality of the Shyft DualRide from the pictures and videos we've seen of it and when we unboxed it months before our little Evelyn was born, but we could never have imagined how valuable its versatility would be to us once she was born this winter. We live in the suburbs but needed to pop in and out of the city for doctors appointments for Evie in the first couple weeks of her life, and it was amazing how easy it was to navigate those excursions with a newborn being able to pop the Shyft DualRide in and out of the car in either car seat or stroller mode depending on what we needed and where exactly we were going. It brought such peace of mind to us knowing and seeing how safe and secure she was when we'd get her buckled in. Transitioning between the modes is easy and quick once you get the hang of it, and the weight of the seat and the seat with the wheels on is totally manageable. This is our first Evenflo product and it has definitely sold us on the brand. We're excited to try out more products as Evie grows!

My Favorite Baby Product!!!
Take it from someone with an extremely busy life. We are constantly on the go and this carseat stroller combine is my bestfriend. It is not only light weight. But it also so convenient. I like how it has a tracking sensor and it will alert you. So you won't forget baby in the vehicle or if someone tries to steal your baby then you have a way to track them! But my absolute favorite thing about this carseat stroller combine is how one button transforms from carseat to stroller, the other transforms it back into the carseat and it all clicks straight into the base. It makes everyday life so much easier. Now when going shopping my husband pushes the cart and I push the stroller. That way we dont have to pack the carseat into the store or try to lift it up and into the grocery cart. Which not only makes it more convinent for us... But it also makes it more safe on the baby because that way he is not touching the cart and is not exposed to all the germs on it 😊!!! No matter where we go, we are constantly getting compliments on how cool this combine is. So many are amazed when I tell or show them how it operates. Alot tell me "I wish they had that when I had kids", "that's sooo convenient" or "I want that when I have a baby!!!" This truly is my favorite baby item I have. When my baby was born he was only 4lbs 12oz. This carseat stroller combines weight support starts out at 3lbs and goes to 35lbs. Alot of others I looked at before this one, does not even start out until 4-5lbs. So after being told our baby was expecting to possibly be preemie weight. We had less worries and none when it came to bringing our bundle of joy home. Overall, it is well worth the money to me. Just for how it makes daily life more convenient/easier. With this combine I don't get overwhelmed when it comes to transporting my baby boy. It lets me enjoy all my time with him without getting frustrated by having to carry a heavy carseat around 😊!!! What mommy doesn't want all that?!

Best Newborn Purchase
I absolutely love this car seat stroller combo. I'm not sure how we had kids before this type of convertible system.
The Sensor Safe alert is one of my favorite features. Having peace of mind that I'll be alerted if my child is in danger, over heated, sat idle for too long, etc., is one less thing my mama-brain has to worry over with a newborn.
The system snaps easily into place, and releases quickly. It definitely took some practice, and figuring out prior to bringing home baby from the hospital. My best advice, if its stuck, snap it all back down into its "home" position and then try to release the stroller from the base. I probably spent an hour trying to detach the stroller from the base right out of the box due to inexperience and unfamiliarity. But, we've got it now, and thankfully my husband was able to easily detach the seat from the stroller without previous practice at the hospital.
I've added a stroller caddy in my car that is not evenflo branded, I find it to be easier to attach than the larger storage pocket that comes with the stroller. I just needed a place for my oversized Stanley cup and phone. I'm 5'-10", my husband is 6'-2", so we need the extra leg room for our strides. The storage pocket sometimes gets kicked. I think I'll likely use it more in the winter months to store blankets and such for outdoor events.
I do not use the cup holder because my 40 oz Stanley goes with me everywhere. However, it definitely does the trick for a standard 16 oz water bottle.
The ease of use for me, as well as all the grandparents, AND my 9 yr. old daughter makes this purchase even better! It has all the bells and whistles of a traditional car seat, with the genius innovative solution to have a car seat/stroller combo available at your fingertips. I definitely recommend this for new parents!

So i have this unit, as well as the doona stroller, and I totally prefer this one!!!!. I love how you can leave the wheels in the car seat and just take the car seat portion by itself. This makes it very convenient when visiting restaurants, as the car seat by itself makes it easier to fit in tight seating areas. I also like this stroller better over the doona, since its actually a little roomier in general, and the quality of materials is really great. Overall very satisfied with my stroller, and totally recommend it to anyone looking for a multi purpose stroller.

Excellent Product and game changer for a family on the go
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Shyft DualRide Carseat Stroller combo as part of the Stellar Product testing panel and was able to use it for my wife and my new born girl.
Upon receiving the product, it was packaged nicely and had excellent directions for use. I am not someone who uses manuals to a tee, so the quick set up guide was great to quickly start playing with the product. It was fairly intuitive to use, but the changing of the car seat to a stroller and back to a car seat takes a second and a little practice to really master. However, I learned it quickly and then installed it in the car.
The car seat itself is very plush and fit our new born well. It looked protective, and comfortable. The straps looked safe, but were not abrasive or pinching her in any way. The cover for the Dualride was a wonderful material. It stretches really well which provides excellent shade while looking high quality. It also seems very breathable so that in the heat (its been in the 80's where I am at) I have less concern with her overheating. The handle is comfortable to carry and looks nice with the little strip of leather, again adding to a high quality feel.
The base is relatively easy to install and when done correctly, it feels very sturdy and safe. The car seat locks and unlocks easily into the base.
The sensor on the car seat is a nice add in, but it feels unnecessary. While I appreciate where the designers were going with it, and it is nice to know the temp of in side the seat, its something that we found we rarely use and really dont need.
As a stroller, the wheel work as expected. Its not a jogging stroller so it doesnt absorb bumps, but it pushes well, its light weight, and its size is really convenient in spaces like restaurants and busy areas.
What really made this product a game changer for us is its ability to quickly shift from car seat to stroller. We like to have outings and run a lot of errands with our kids, so having the ability to choose to use it as a car seat or a stroller has allowed us to not have to pack a stroller at times which frees up car space. That has been so great for us when traveling or when we quickly are heading someone and can then skip packing up a stroller. I have also found that certain situations it would be my instincts to not take a stroller because I can carry a car seat short distances or a stroller is unnecessary, but with the Dualride, its so easy to make it a stroller, that in these situations I now use the stroller and it saves my arms a lot of hassle. Another benefit of this is that we do not have to transfer our infant from a car seat to a stroller and back. Many times she is sleeping and can just remain doing so. Any ability to get more peace for car rides is welcomed!
The only criticism I have regarding the stroller is the attachments. The cup holder feels cheap, like it will break easily or get lost, and it does not hold bigger cups which is annoying especially with my wife drinking lots of water due to breast feeding. Also, the attachment for the under stroller carrier is easy enough to put on and off, but takes some of the convivence away of just breaking stroller down to a car seat quickly since the attachment needs to be fully removed to transition from stroller to car seat.
Overall, we love this product and would highly recommend it. It is a high quality, safe, and convenient product that I wish I had for our first born, and I would be without something like this if we have a third or more kids in the future.
