Great Value and SUPER QUIET
So far so good one month in. We had an older 15 year old unit before that was just too loud. Still worked but way too loud. This unit literally works like a split unit. So quiet and cools down most of the apartment. No longer have to blast the volume on the tv or talk loud over the AC. It is also much lighter. Let’s see how long this one lasts.

Friedrich 12,000 BTU Window Air Conditioner

It cools my 550 sq. ft. space quickly and operates with minimal noise, even at higher settings. Installation was simple, and I appreciate that the design still allows the window to open. Cool comfort for your space
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Friedrich Chill Premier CCV12A10A is a window air conditioner that's perfect for tackling the heat in a single room or even a garage. I've been using this unit, and it's definitely a little powerhouse for its size.
What really stands out about the CCV12A10A is how quickly and effectively it cools down a targeted area. This unit wastes no time in bringing the temperature down to a comfortable level. The airflow is strong, and it does a great job of circulating cool air, making sure there are no stuffy corners. Plus, for a window unit, it's surprisingly quiet. You can definitely still hear it, but it's more of a gentle hum than a disruptive roar, which is a big win.
A quick but super important tip: Before you even think about buying, measure your window opening carefully! Nothing's worse than getting ready for installation only to find out your new AC won't fit. Installation was pretty straightforward, as far as window ACs go, once I knew it would fit. It felt snug and secure. While it might not have all the bells and whistles of a smart home system, its controls are easy to understand and use.
Overall, if you need a reliable, efficient, and reasonably quiet window air conditioner to keep a specific room or space cool and comfortable, the Friedrich Chill Premier CCV12A10A is a fantastic choice. It's a solid little unit that delivers big on cooling comfort.

Quiet, easy to install, very cold A/C
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This things cools very, very well. I'm using it for a 600sf project room separate from the house and it cools it down quickly despite minimal insulation and being a bit undersized for the space.
Installation is simple with very easy to follow instructions. The unit is extremely quiet and doesn't rattle. There is an app and the connectivity instructions are easy just like any other connected device you have. Overall, I love this unit.

A must have Brand for your Air conditioner needs!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The cooling capacity is better and colder than any air conditioning unit I've had in the past!!! I have the air conditioner on low and the temperature set to 62 degrees and it's freezing in the entire downstairs area of my home...i love this air conditioner!!!!! You barely even know it's on because it makes close to no noise at all and the wifi capabilities along with the App that I've installed on my cell phone allows me to control it when I'm not home...if it's a really hot day I can go in the App and put the unit in high and set the temperature to whatever ide like ...it's so modern and so easy to read the digital screen on the air conditioner....you can either press the buttons manually or use the remote or the App on the phone to control it...I have never been so happy with an air conditioner that I am with this brand!!!! It's exceeded my expectations and was so easy to install as well!!!! I highly recommend this brand and this air conditioner because you will enjoy the summer months nice and cool and comfortable in your home and you can even use it for extra heat in the winter months... I plan on buying this same unit for upstairs in my home, and this is a brand that I will definitely keeps buying products from , from here on out!!! I absolutely love it!!!

Easy install, wifi convenience

Quiet and Alexa connected
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We converted our little room in our garage to a study space and this unit is perfect. Works well with Alexa so if I’m back upstairs and forgot to turn off the unit I can do it via Alexa. It’s powerful and pretty quiet. The only problem is that it’s pretty heavy and it was hard to install. We also had to cut out a spot for the AC unit. Not sure how much the energy cost will be since we just got it going but so far, wonderful!

5 Star AC Unit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love my new Friedrich Smart Air Conditioner. First, It's super easy to install. Anyone can do it, and it comes with everything you need. The unit runs great, and is very quiet compared to other units I have used. The remote is easy to use, and so is the app. I love being able to turn the unit off while I'm at work to save energy, but be able to run it with the click of a button to cool down my room before returning home. So convenient! 5 stars overall!

Quietest Airconditioner I have ever seen or heard
This has to be the best Airconditioner that Fredrich has made to date. I purchased this to replace and old Fredrich unit that was 16 years old. This unit is the quietest unit I have ever seen. It is the equivalent of a mini split. You can barely tell that it is on. The unit also seems to prioritize taking humidity out then cooling. The fact that it is and inverter it makes it very capable of cooling comfortably by reducing the humidity to 48% and keeping it there. We have had several days of 90 degree weather since this unit got installed and it barely ramped up to above a normal refrigerator in noise. I have a sense energy monitor hooked up to my solar array and service and it is a rare event to see this unit pulling more than 1700 watts. Most of the time it is pulling only a mere 460 watts which is a huge savings on the electric bill. This unit is cooling and area of 1200 sq. Ft and does it perfectly without breaking a sweat. The temperature is evenly maintained to within 2 degrees of what it is set for. The only complaint I have is the app for my phone. It needs work. I dislike the fact that the app will not allow you to lower the temperature without taking money saver off first. Then you can only enable money saver again by using the units remote. If you use the app it sets the temperature to 80 degrees with no way to lower it without disabling money saver again. Why can’t the app work like the remote? I am sure this is a bug in the app that needs to be worked out. Also the remote must be pointed directly at the unit to make adjustments. The remote also has a one second delay to the unit which is annoying. Other than that I am very pleased with this units performance and noise level. It’s a huge improvement over my old unit. The old units were so loud that you could not carry a conversation in the same room. All in all this is truly Fredrich’s best.

Awesome service! Louis was recommended to me from a family member. He helped me out at kings highway location in Brooklyn, he was excellent and extremely helpful. Love the AC unit is it extremely quiet and powerful enough to cool entire apartment. This unit reminds me of the European wall AC.

Literally a meat locker
I don’t know why we waited so long to get this AC. This unit cools our whole downstairs. We have a cape style house about 1000 sqft. It’s quite, can’t even tell it’s running.

Friedrich 24,000 BTU Air Conditioner
This air conditioner replaces the earlier Friedrich model that I had for 15 years. It cools the dining room, living room, and kitchen. I've only had it for a month, and it's been great so far. It is quiet and effective. If it lasts as long as the other one did, I'll be a happy camper.

Great Window AC inverter unit and works quietly.
I am so glad I bought this Friedrich Window AC Inverter unit. I bought it with the help of a sales person from PC Richard located in 450 Kings Hwy, Brooklyn. The sales man, Rafael, took the time to help me to search this unit and make sure the measurement, BTU and voltage are correct. This unit is much quiet than the old unit I had. It produce a powerful cool air to chill the whole living room in a short time. This unit also comes with mobile app which I can control the unit remotely. I love the ability to turn on the unit 30 minutes before I get in the house. The installation guys also did a great job removing the old unit, install the new unit and clean up the place afterward. Highly recommending this unit from PC Richard and Son.

Quiet and cools a large room.
It's quiet and it cools a large room. I had a Carrier 18,000 btu for 25 years that this unit replaced which really pushed out the air and cooled the whole downstairs area of my house. This is a 24,000 btu which does a great job cooling a large room, but doesn't have the push the Carrier had, though it's a lot quieter and uses less power. If it lasts half as long as the Carrier I'd be satisfied.

Works well except for the remote control.
The unit works well with many features, but the reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 stars is because the remote control is terrible. It sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. Sometimes it will work from across the room and other times you have to stand right n front of the unit for it to work. And this is with new batteries.

F5 designation and current interrupter device.
Works fine but suddently restricts air flow and cold air with a F5 appearing on the temperature screen. No where in the Trouble shooting section of the manual is a F5 designation mentioned. In the Trouble shooting section, there is mention of a "current interrupter device" but I could find any description of it in the manual.

Great features, quiet unit, good price!
I bought this unit to replace a 20 year old same brand 18,000 BTU unit which was no longer cooling. Too expensive to repair especially with the older Freon. This new 24,000 BTU unit was about the same price as I paid for the older one 20 years ago but a bit smaller and more BTUs! Only complaints I have are the remote is pretty sketchy doesn’t work all the time and the fan high speed could be much higher. These two reasons is why I only gave it a four star review. I hope this one lasts as long as the old one, time will tell.
