Does a great job of cooling a large kitchen area
Relatively straightforward to install the sleeve. Once the sleeve was in place, the unit itself slid in smoothly, though it obviously took two people given the size of the unit. In the relatively warm and humid weather we have been having this summer, it has done a great job of cooling a large 900+ cu ft kitchen and dining area. It cools promptly and handles easily any heat generated by the kitchen, but at the same time maintaining a relatively consistent temperature. It is surprisingly unobtrusive, doing its work without a large amount of noise, but it does a nice job of keeping the area comfortable.

Friedrich Kuhl Series are quite air conditioners
Since the beginning I’m the fan of Friedrich Kuhl Series air conditioner brand for my home cooling. This is the replacement for my living room and it’s perfect size (21500 BTU ) for the large room.

Hot room needs big power. Friedrich Kuhl Series 21,500 BTU is doing a great job. The people at P.C. Richards provide a much appreciated high level of service; from the floor sales staff, to the deliverymen.

It is working very well & is very quiet. A suggestion is to have it written in bold letters in the manual that you need to press the button 2X to turn on/off.

Friedrich 21,500 BTU AC
AC is cool and comfortable without having to turn down the temp. With the fan on low it cools the house and it’s comfortable. The AC is not to loud either. I would definitely recommend this AC.

Love it!
I love this ac. It was a replacement for one i purchased in 2015 with an extended warranty, that unit failed. This one is so much better! I have it through the wall and it cools my whole downstairs. It has built in wifi, and it is easy to program in a schedule through the Friedrich site or app.

Great AC love the WiFi connect
Face cover was very sensitive and control board did not work correctly because it was not sitting perfect when I installed it. Love the WiFi connection set it up myself, took a few tries but was successful.

Powerful unit
Large powerful unit. Cools my living room and dining room well. My only complaint is that there is no light on the display when the fan is off on the energy saver mode. There is no way to see that the unit is on. Poor design.

Nice unit, but pricey
This is a pricey air conditioning unit. We chose this unit over others because we had to replace an older Freiderich wall unit & didn't want to have to change the opening in our wall. This unit was less BTUs and WAY more expensive than what we replaced. There was a model that was very similar for about 700 less. But this model does have a sleek look, runs smoothly & relatively quietly.

replace an old Friedrichs 21,000 btu unit. Doesn't seem to have the power of the older unit. 15 amp as apposed to 20 amp? Works ok.

Rather disappointing
My last a/c was only 18,000 BTUs but seemed to cool off my area better than this one. If I put it on energy saver it lets the area go all the way up to 75 degrees even though I have it set at 72 degrees. The only way I can get it to keep the area at at least 73 degrees is to leave it at constantly cool with the fan always running. Also paid a huge amount more than my last Friedrich so no, I'm not really happy with this purchase. Installers also took away the box after also rolling up the electric cord inside the case so that I can't even access the serial number and I am 74 years old so this is not something I can go undo and redo myself.

Not real happy
The unit doesn't cool as much as I would like unless it is on the Max fan at the lowest setting of 60degrees. Also there is not a lot of adjusting the direction of the fan.

Nothing Works
The remote stopped working within two weeks and the unit would not function. I contacted Friedrich and They said it was a power surge that fried the board! They were sending a part ten days ago ten days ago? So far nothing!?!

Kuhl Quality going down with new units.
Prior similar Kuhl unit only lasted 5 years and extended warranty expired. . Replaced with same unit due to physical dimensions not the same as any other vendor and this unit is installed through the wall. New unit cools but is actually noisier than old unit that failed.

I don't buy anything at PC Richards shop somewhere else items come many times damaged or not working well I know this from experience I should have learned my lesson by now bought a $3,000 air conditioner that's a piece of crap first time starting it making fan noise then not cooling digital number means nothing because it's not even close to being accurate having to call service let's see how that goes
