Easy to use A/C unit!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We installed this at our garage shop and it’s working out great! We’ve used it some but our weather hasn’t been super hot yet. Does a great job of cooling our space and getting the humidity under control. I love that it runs off an app and can be controlled when you aren’t near the unit.

Great window unit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great window unit that has excellent cooling capability. Installation was a breeze and I could do it by myself in about 30 minutes. It really keeps my room cool without disruptive noise. My energy bill hasn't gone up by too much at all and I can live in comfort now that the hot weather has started here in Florida.

Summer Lifesaver!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Friedrich Uni-Fit Smart 10,000 BTU unit to replace an old through-the-wall AC, and honestly, I’m kind of in love with it (is that weird?). Installation was straightforward, and it fit perfectly into the existing sleeve without a bunch of DIY drama—huge win.
The cooling power is impressive. It handles my living room (around 400 sq ft) like a champ, even on those brutally hot days. What really sold me, though, were the smart features. I can turn it on from my phone before I get home, and by the time I walk in, it’s already cool. Plus, I’ve yelled at Alexa to turn it down more times than I’d like to admit.
It’s also surprisingly quiet—like, “I can actually watch TV without cranking the volume” quiet. The energy saver mode helps keep the electric bill in check too, which I definitely appreciate.
Only minor complaint? The app setup took a few extra minutes and a little patience. But once it was up and running, it’s been smooth sailing.
Overall, if you’re looking for a powerful, quiet, smart AC that doesn’t require a full window commitment—this is the one. Totally worth it.

Easy installation

quiet and make the room cold very fast

I installed for my guest room and it is very quiet and makes the room cool very fast. Not too sure abour the energy efficiency but I will check my electricity bill at the end of the month. And the design is very elegant and looks nice.

Efficient and powerful AC

Really nice A/C, worth the money.
Very nice A/C unit. More expensive than other brands but you really do get what you pay for. This A/C is much much quieter than unit it replaced and cools much better (efficiency rating is also higher). I also appreciate the wifi connection so that i can turn it on before returning home. Overall a very good unit, a big improvement over my old one.

Glad I bought it.
I replaced my older rusted out Friedrich 10,000 BTU model with a new one. I like it. It's quieter, there's a remote and there's a wireless app which I'm still trying to get to work, but I'm sure I will eventually. It sends the air a long distance. I can feel it across the room where I couldn't with my older one.

a very good investment
this is my second a/c from the Friedrich family. it is a power house and through the worst of times kept me cool. the family sent me a thank you email. how lovely is that!!!!! PC Richards delivered and installed it as promised. as a heart patient i need a reliable and sturdy a/c unit. thank you Friedrich family , thank you very much.

TOO LOUD!
I've had it for 3 weeks. It cools a 500 sq. ft. apartment without difficulty. I had to turn it off during virtual meetings because it's loud. I tried syncing the A/C to the mobile app but the process proved to be crazy difficult.

Trash, unit arrived with no freon or whatever it needs to work- had to call service department and they had to ok a replacement unit. Received 3 other units since then. They wouldn't let me return the unit because the installer threw out the box. So stuck - but they did upgrade me to a 12K unit because the 10k just could not cool my small room.

Friedrich Uni-fit...Lasted one year...
I bought a Friedrich Uni-fit 10,000 BTU ac a year ago...worked great for one year.
Does not work anymore...I reached out to PC Richards customer service and to Friedrich
on line customer service with no action taken....I paid $1003.00 with the sleeve Tried to find out if it could be repaired, NO ANSWER...
