Wall unit air conditioner
Very nice light in weight unit,easy to install by myself! Comes with a remote so no step ladder needed to reach controls. Also WiFi control so I could turn it on from another room.

Friedrich is simply the best for in-wall AC units!
This unit was priced at close to double those from Frigidaire, Emerson, GE, LG and Koldfront. But we tried several of those brands in the past at the same 14000BTU power and they were either too loud or too ineffective (not cold enough). This unit is worth the extra cost! It is quiet enough for a unit providing 14000 BTUs. It cools VERY effectively. There have been 90 degree days where it was able to cool our very large room without having to place it on the high setting. It has a standard remote with LCD screen, an easy to setup WiFi, and an app for your phone with the ability to setup different timer settings for day/time. The delivery from PC Richard was on-time and without issue. I was able to remove the previous unit and install this one by myself. It ships with enough weather seal foam to install neatly. Just ensure you have a 220 Volt 15 Amp dedicated circuit for this unit to work effectively and efficiently. We are VERY happy with this unit!

The machine is a perfect size for the space it covers. You set it to the temperature you want. When it reaches the temperature it shuts. If you want it to be one degree cooler, you set it to that temperature. When it reaches the temperature it shuts. Could not be simpler. Very happy with purchase. I bought two - each for a different room.

14,000 BTU Kills it!
I have been purchasing the 12,800 BTU Friedrich wall through units for my home. The wall through unit only came in one size and BTU amount. This bigger BTU output is far superior than the older, smaller version. Very happy Friedrich "upped" their game! Since the unit has more BTU's I think it's larger and was more difficult to install. I removed the rubber gasket inside the sleeve to get it to fit. Certainly worth the effort.

Second Time around.
After quick and sudden death of this unit, I was glad to have purchase the extended warranty. After receiving the replacement i know know the First unit was clearly defective from the start. When you instal this unit you MUST use air grate that comes in the box for it to work properly. Also by a thermometer and make sure it blows cold air at at least 50-52 degrees. I have a large living room, foyer, dining room and kitchen being cooled my this unit, which gets quickly cooled. To speed up the cooling I sometimes use a fan to help circulate the air from the ac. Wifi set almost impossible and remote very laggy when it works.

Great Quality
To start would have given 5 stars however the remote is a little hard to get the hang of. The unit is awesome very powerful yet quiet. Fit right into an existing sleeve in the wall no muss no fuss. Very soft blue light panel comforting in a dark room seems tranquil. The filter is easily removed and air dries quickly. I have used to fan feature to circulate air in the house and does a great job. Overall this is one great quality unit.

This air conditioner works very well, it would be a plus if the remote buttons and the display were lit up using back lights so it's easier to see in the dark. Otherwise have no complaints with the air conditioner itself. Not too loud and cools the rooms nicely.

Does the job
We bought this on the recommendation of the store Mgr. My entire apt is 647 Sq feet. We needed to cool our living room,25x9x9, and side kitchen 12x12x9. He assured us it would do the job.
5 minutes after it was installed,the compressor shut off. 9 hours later my apt was sitting on 84 degrees?
When service came out to check,they found it was improperly installed. The thermostat was taped to the coils, and the unit was not pushed into the sleeve all the way. Once this was addressed, the unit did the job, cooling off our living room from 84 to 70 in about 45 minutes on one of the hottest days.
I like the controls,remote, and easy to see display as well as the wi-fi feature.
Technically, we could have used a higher BTU, 15,000, but this unit has done what we needed it to.
Make sure the installers know what they are doing!

The units are attractive and cool my rooms effectively. The units are not quiet, even on low fan but no thru the wall units are. I really like the "display" option on remote that shuts down all the bright blue lights but lets the unit continue to run. I am very satisfied and recommend these units. Be sure to get a powerful enough unit for your space. I paid more for 14,000 BTU but its worth it to keep my large (30' x 14'), sun filled room cool.

I love the unit… very quiet and hardly costs anything to run. The wifi feature is great, so I don't need to keep it running 24/7. This is my second unit, the first had a mechanical issue, but since I had the extended warranty PC Richard replaced it with a brand new one. Great unit… great experience.

For a high power ac it is pretty quiet. Only issue the remote isn’t in sync with unit. Displays are different which is weird. Ac says 72 but when I use remote to switch temps the unit stays the same but remote changes. Other than that great unit.
