Friedrich is a name you can trust
Fits perfectly in my Fedders through the wall sleeve.. This air conditioner is the most quiet I've ever owned. Very efficient and effective. As one of the top of the line air conditioners. New technology, as it is an inverter, and Wi-Fi capable. I like I can control it from the phone app. I recommend this brand and model. Plus I had PC Richards install it. They are very nice to work with even the installer quick installation. Discarded my old one also.

Friedrich quality???
I bought this to replace another Friedrich I bought only 3 yrs ago. That one had a control board failure twice. I was wasn’t going to pay another $500 to fix it again. This new model has their new inverter technology. Meaning it has a variable speed compressor so it will not go off and on constantly. It just slows or speeds up the compressor and tries to maintain the temperature. The problem with this is it is noisy. Noisier than the non inverter models. Sounds like a jet engine spooling up and down. On low it’s really noticeable but better on medium. It’s keeps the room cold I’ll give it that. Colder than the older model with the same BTU’s and no inverter. Will the control board fry itself? I have to hope not. At least you get a 2 yr parts warranty now. Was a year before. Friedrich quality is what it was I fear and I only bought it because it fits the sleeve otherwise I’d have gone with a different company. YMMV but beware.

Electronics failure on control panel
Ultimately had to be returned. Control board failure over and over again. Nothing but a huge pain. Unplug and wait and replug and work for a while and then electronics would freeze up again. AVOID these machines. Quality control is terrible
