Works great, just a bit louder than I hoped for
This air conditioner works great, and it keeps my house nice an cool. It's about 3 degrees off from what other thermometers I have in my house say, but that's fine with me. I only wish it had an app so I can change the settings as I wish while I'm at work. It's a bit louder than I hoped for, but they all are I think. I haven't figured out the remote yet, so I can't comment on the remote sensing option. That seems a little confusing to me, but I also haven't spent time to get to know it yet. I can only recommend short-term use right now. Time will tell to see if it lasts as long as my 22 year old Fedder's A/C, which was still going strong!!

How loud is this unit?
It's pretty quiet so far. The compressor, which is usually the noise culprit, isn't loud at all. However, like every other AC unit I've ever had, the compressor does create a certain amount of unavoidable vibration. This can sometimes cause the removable plastic parts -- the filter and front case -- to buzz. A strategic piece of packing tape placed at the seam to make the seal stronger does the trick for me.
