Quiet, Efficient, Cools Great!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced an 18,000 BTU window unit with this 28,000 BTU unit. I'm very satisfied so far, but its only been 3 days. The outside temperatures have been 98-102 degrees for the last week and this unit does put out a lot of cold air.

Frigidaire - 28,000 BTU Window Air Conditioner with Slide Out Chassis
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great value unit. I replaced a older discontinued Freidrich unit with this one. The only complaint I have is the manufacture installed a 30 amp plug on the new A/C . The manufacture specs say 230 volt / 13 amp. I did not want to cut the plug off so I had to hire a electrician to change my recepticle plug in wall.

Great a/c I hope
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only had it for a short time. This is my 4th over the past 25 years. It cools my whole house. The last one was great for 5 years but this years extreme heat and drought took a toll on it. In my area of Texas we had extreme Sahara dust as well as our own dust. I thoroughly cleaned it but it would not cool anymore. Decided to get a new one with extended warranty. Only issue was a design change in the widow surround. It was expanded by half an inch and would not fit my window. Luckily my old one fit perfectly in my window. But beware its bigger and may not fit where the previous one did. Hoping it lasts for many years.

I've bought wall AC units before without measuring the space and it always worked out. Is this unit bigger then average size or should I actually measure? I'm afraid the depth will be too long. How do I measure that?
This unit is a little larger than my last unit. My last unit was a freidw And I had to make some adjustments so it would fit the sleeve. The way you measure the depth is to measure from the front of unit to the back of the unit

Have an old Carrier A/C unit in the wall. The sleeve is 22'' H by 27''W. Can I use this sleeve for new unit.
I tried to use my old sleeve also which was the same dimensions but didn't work,Frigidaire made it so you have to use the sleeve that came with the unit
