I applied glass top polish and cleaning before I used it. This is in the instruction manual. I made sure my pans were clean on the bottom. I use the polish after each use. I chose not to go with the gallery stove since there is not much stainless steel to clean. If you desire less fingerprints this one is not for you. I clean my stove after each use so it doesn’t matter to me. I have not used the oven yet nor the steam clean. I do like that the seal of the oven is a cord and not rubber. It slides in and out easily. The stove I replaced was over thirty years old. Wow what a difference in how well this new stove heats up and uses less energy. I like that the timer alarm will repeat again if you do not turn it off in a few minutes after it sounds initially. It is a little quieter than my old stove. I am very satisfied with my purchase.
