Blessed Relief

After installing this air conditioner, it is wonderful to be able to breathe in that room and attend to household chores in the comfort of coolness.
I purchased this model based on consumer reviews. It was an easy one person installation and operates fairly quietly. I trust the Frigidaire brand.

Staying Cool
It is a quiet unit. For the price, it is efficient and very good at cooling my small bedroom. It replaced a similar model from years prior, that still worked. So I am confident that this will last years to come. The old unit got replaced as it had a lot of molds and a musty smell, so it was on me for storing it incorrectly and figured my health is worth more than the price of this unit.
Also want to mention the salesperson Steve from the Patchogue store who helped me pick out the unit. Thank you for being knowledgeable on the product lineup and creating a friendly sales environment. I have done business with Steve for years for both home and business and he has always helped me get the right items. Never let me down.

Compact, efficient, with settings that can have the fan run constantly while cooling cycles on and off, or only when cooling. It’s not super quiet but on continuous fan it sounds more like white noise. We replaced a free-standing unit in the room with this window unit and are very satisfied so far—only got it into the window in July!

An AC worth the $ !
This is an excellent and quiet running AC! The features work well as advertised. It chills my bedroom to a very comfortable level. The price met my expectations and the Extended Warranty cost that I bought was reasonable. Frigidaire has a long, respected & trusted reputation for workmanship. I never considered the other ACs as I wanted EnergyStar, sleep timer, etc features.

Will this fit in an older 18in wide window opening. I just want to make sure I am reading the specs correctly.
The unit I own looks like the same unit you’re talking about and it is 18.5 inches wide, if the window is 18 inches with no more room I DO NOT believe it will fit that window unless you have more than 18 inches
