Excellent cooling!

It fits perfectly in my window, and I’m happy I’ll have cool air this summer!

Great AC for casement windows

Perfect!
I've had this unit for years and it's worked flawlessly through several hot summers. The noise level isn't bad at all and if you set the temperature too low it'll freeze your butt off. I'd buy another one in a minute if I needed to. Highly recommended!

Keeping your Cool!

Since it was going in a bedroom window, the fact that it is the most quiet-running unit I have ever encountered is a plus! I never have to turn it off or on during the warmer months; I just set it to the temperature I want the room to be and it always is...

Powerful Cooling!

Looks nice for a window unit. Powerful cooling, not terribly loud.

Good Quality - Niche Product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are few choices available for AC units that fit slider windows. Fortunately this is a good quality product from a reputable brand. We live in Florida and bought this as a backup system to run off of the generator when we lose power from hurricanes. Easily cools our bedroom and adjoining bathroom of about 450 SF. It is very heavy, best to have 2 people to lift. Make sure you measure your window height. Our window was too tall for the provided filler panel. I had to make my own filler panel out of plywood and 2x4s ripped to fit into the casement. I also built my own platform because the one provided requires you to drill into the window sill and casement. Overall this is a high quality product and would recommend. Just read the online installation instructions before purchasing.

Overall Very Satisfied
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this AC as an additional cooling unit to cool a couple of rooms at the rear of my mother's house. Since the window I needed to install the unit in was the older vertical sliding aluminum framed type from the 60's this unit was the perfect choice. I did have to modify the installation some as the window casement would not allow for installation as instructed. This, of course, did add a little time to the installation with just a small amount of added difficulty. However, once installed the unit worked and cooled as I would expect one this size to. Overall I am very satisfied with the air conditioner and have always preferred to use Frigidaire window/wall AC units due to the great performance I have experienced with similar products in the past.

Great replacement
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installed a used casement unit into the kitchen wall over 10 yrs ago. The old unit started to make noise. Bought this one since the dimensions were almost the same. Although the old unit took some doing in getting it out do to the dried caulking, the new Frigidaire slipped in with ease and is working great.

Finally a cold room!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 3 weeks ago, and so far its been amazing! My room was unbearable before and now its nice and cool. The fan makes some noise but nothing terrible. Id say its consistent with a lot of the ac units you hear in a hotel. it fit great in my sliding window. It did come missing a few pieces of the installation kit for supporting it, but they sent me the pieces once i notified them. I would definitely recommend!

Easy Install: Sort of.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A little under powered for what I needed but that was my oversight. Install was fairly easy. The filler section was to small so I fabricated one from some spare plexiglass I has lying around. Working smoothly so far.

8,000 BTU Window-Mounted Slider / Casement Air Conditioner
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A/C fit my horizontal sliding window like a glove. The window extender above the window was easy to install and so was the A/C holding bracket. So far the unit is maintaining my room temp at a comfortable 71 degrees without running constantly. That's pretty good since we have been over 100 degrees with high humidity. I can recommend this A/C.

Nice option for slider windows
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this air conditioner about a month ago. We've suffered trhough a lot of heat waves thinking we could never get an air conditioner for our vertical sliding windows. But this one works great and was pretty easy to install. The bedroom is on the second floor so we were a bit concerned about the installation but it turned out to be pretty simple. the unit isn't that heavy so two people can easily lift it into place. it cools 350 square feet very quickly and effectively. I'd give this unit two thumbs up!
