Love my new frig!

I like the options for shelving and am so glad I stayed with a side by side unit. Also love the size of the ice!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We couldn’t be happier with this Frigidaire 26 Cu. Ft. Side-by-Side Refrigerator! From the moment it was installed, it completely elevated my kitchen. The design is sleek and modern, and it fits perfectly without sacrificing any storage space.
The capacity is incredible—there’s more than enough room for everything, and the side-by-side layout makes it so easy to stay organized and actually find what I need quickly. Great Fridge

We went with this side by side and it is everything we needed! It is very spacious! No bending to find things. We love it!

Best Replacement for a 15 year old fridge
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For years, I have fixed my old refrigerator and was resistant to getting a new one because I already knew how to fix almost everything that might need to be fixed on my old refrigerator. Several times I have looked for a new refrigerator in frustration when trying to figure out a problem with the old fridge and always looked for a refrigerator that looked like it would be easy to fix when the warranty runs out. I searched for days for the best refrigerator while trying to fix my old one (a GE PROFILE 29cu ft). Ultimately I settled on this Frigidaire GRSS2652AF. It looks like it will be fairly easy to access parts that typically start to break down after the extended warranty goes out. Another reason I chose this one because the Auger in the ice maker is metal (my GE had a plastic auger that broke easily). The shelves in my GE freezer section were wire shelves and weren't quite wide enough so would fall sideways frequently. This Frigidaire has glass shelves in both sections. I think it is set up where they won't fall when filled. They are also set up where they are easy to remove for cleaning. (several other refrigerators that I looked at during my search for this one had difficult to remove shelves and even store workers struggled to figure out). With my old GE, I would often start filling up my large water cup and walk of to do something real fast while it was filling and get distracted and hear my water overflowing into the floor. With this Frigidaire, the paddle that you press is firm enough that you can't just push it in with your cup and leave it to fill. You have to be there holding the cup against the paddle. So no more getting distracted and flooding my floor. There also is a auto shut off if the water dispenser runs more than 3 minutes. I also like that it has smaller ice cubes than my GE did and so when I use the crushed ice feature, it crushes the ice better than my GE did. I haven't had this refrigerator long so I can't speak for longevity, but so far I am enjoying my new refrigerator. The 2 things I wish were different on this one are that I wish it were as big as my old one and I wish it had one more door shelf in the refrigerator section so we could store more of our many sauces and condiments on the door.

Upgraded Gallery

The drawers slide better, it is slightly bigger but noticeable, and the cubed ice is a different shape, and the water dispenser works faster. We thought we were getting the same fridge but we love it better than the old one.

The only thing I miss, is the water tank to get cold water without ice. But that is not a big enough thing to regret buying this model.
The size is just what I needed. This was to replace my old Frigidaire that lasted 20 years. We bought it used just after hurricane Katrina. I am hoping this one will last as long or longer.

Side by side 26 Cu ft .Frigidaire Refrigerator
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Plenty of space in both freezer and refrigerator. Ice cubes are small but not a problem because they freeze quickly and are abundant. Water filter is easily reached for replacement. No problems so far.
