We became accustomed to the additional space that is provided in both the fridge and freezer combo. When paired, the set looks like one piece, yet you have two single door units. The updated version is just that. High tech, very easy operation. I love the lighting in these units, bright and well placed throughout. Enough flexibility in shelving placement. Drawers and bins seperable option, which is nice. Auto humidity, I like that. Filtration, both for water dispensation and fruit/veggie crisper. I also like the ice maker in the freezer. Just the right size cubes. Love the set. Very happy with our choice.

What is the exact cutout depth to put panels on each side and be built in?

The Frigidaire website has dimension information for all its products. Pulled off of website all specifications for depth, width and installation dimensions needed for built in applications. Trim package details are also available.

My kitchen has the space for the older model of the Frigidaire professional fridge freezer but I couldn't get it when my kitchen was done, the newer model is bigger, it fits but without the trim but I don't like it without any suggestions?

I need to replce model #FPFU19F8RF, is this the same unit just a newer version? I ask because I have the matching freezer and trim kit.

Unfortunately, no. The new model is slightly bigger and the trim kit is also a new model . They sent me the old trim kit with the new model by mistake and it didn’t  fit.  Needed to reorder the new trim kit .
