Great Air Conditioner
This Air conditioner does a great job cooling my living room. Considering I reside on the top floor of my building, My apartment is 10 degrees warmer than outside. I get an immediate drop in temp. The noise level is moderate & self installation was flawless.

Aesthetically pleasing
Aesthetically pleasing, better than the previous one. Very simple to install. It is a bit noisey but nothing more than the previous one. Cooling is excellent what a relief!! To protect myself I did purchase the 4 year extended warranty. Airflow is great and it seams pretty efficient.

Exactly what I needed!
I am so pleased with this AC! It cools instantly and has great power. It is loud, but I do not mind especially when it’s 95 degrees and humid levels are high! Installation was a breeze and a perfect fit.

Great Features
Love the features this air conditioner has. Keeps the apartment perfect at whatever we set the temperature at. Auto and eco are a great addition that GE added to it.

Great air conditioner
I had a 20 year old GE air conditioner that still worked but was very rusted. The new 14k is working very well and has the eco mode which the old one did not. It’s working great.

Cools but noisy
Nice face and cools my 700 sq ft space, but when the condenser kicks in, it gets noisy. Also has a curious design with an open bottom

Very disappointed
Our landlord had this installed when our old one was no longer working. It seemed better than the old one but when it gets really hot the compressor short cycles. It will run for maybe 10 minutes and then shuts off so only the fan is running. The temperature in our apartment keeps going up as the day goes on. It never really catches up. Very disappointed.

Looks good but noisy
Good looking face and wifi easy to connect BUT this is NOT quiet. Cools well, but when that compressor kicks in, you'll raise the volume of your TV, voice, etc.

Terrible AC Unit
Terrible AC Unit. First unit lasted less than a year. Received a replacement unit under warranty and the replacement unit only lasted just over a year.

I would consider something else.
This is our 3rd one in a lil over 4 years. They work great but not for long! First one that broke GE warranty department gave me 2 $250 rebates towards another even though the warranty said will replace. I paid a few hundred extra as the price bunch n had gone up. When the second one broke they sent out a repair person who said they only last a year or two. They replaced it free of charge. Not sore why I received rebates for one and replacement for the other. They were both within the warranty.
