Product is an appropriate size for cabinet. Its appearance is streamlined. Like the additional selections posted inside the door as well as the door safety lock feature. Operation is straight forward.

This is a typical workhorse small appliance that meets our needs. We mainly use the microwave to reheat leftovers, thaw food occasionally and steam vegetables. My only difficulty is reading the instruction sticker inside the door that describes the function of the sensor settings. I need a magnifying glass to decipher the text.

Great Microwave Oven for the price.
Functionality: We are very happy with this microwave oven and all the features. Our last GE microwave oven lasted over 10 years and was great. I think this oven will be just what we need to fill our needs of a microwave oven. Capacity is just the right size for our needs. Controls are great and all that we need. Dimensions fit the space that we need. Power is just the right wattage for our needs.

Meets my needs. First thing I did was turn off child protection in the door handle. Control panel a bit different than my old one but not a deal breaker. My old one had separate buttons for fresh or frozen vegs. Now there is one vegs button that you push 1 for fresh, 2 for frozen or 3 for canned. Also, I can’t just do 1:30 cooking time. I have to do 1 and hit add 30 seconds.
I used the kitchen time often on the old one. It would ding a few times and shut off. This one will ding until it is shut off.

Love it
This model replaced an 8 year old version that died suddenly. This appears to be much the same - which is great because we loved the old one. We use the oven just about every day for streaming fresh veggies, melting butter, and warming up leftovers. The auto features work like magic.

We've had GE appliances for over fifty years, Our 37 Year old microwave was a g e. We love this new GE Microwave, it's just as good as our old one.
If not better. It has lots of power ease of use. Everything about it is excellent.

Great microwave !! This is our 3rd microwave, every microwave we had last more than 12 years, of course got to be GE,our microwaves never brake down, it’s just the interior paint start to peel off but other than that it’s a great brand, heats evenly ,I bought a panansonic and had to return it because it will not heat evenly !!

Comparing GE 1.6 cu ft microwave to Panasonic 1.6
Initial setup easy and works fine. This fits into a cabinet. The vents are primarily on the bottom. New feature for us: defrosting by specifying weight. Compared to similar 1.6 cubic ft Panasonic model, the interior is a little taller and a tad narrower, the power is about the same (1150w for GE and 1200w for the Panasonic), and the turntable is smaller (13.5" for GET and 15" for Panasonic). The white interior and bright interior light are superior to the grey interior and minimal LED light of the Panasonic.
