Love the fact that i can shut iff the done cycle alert and it can handle fairly large loads well. Hopefully it lasts more than 3 years. My other ge dryer lasted exactly 3 years from date of install.

It is a large capacity and has dried well. I will say that the alarm is very loud though. So, I had to turn if off. I read the manual and have tried several of the cycles. I clean the lint after each use. I am looking long term. Let's see after the first year.

This was my very first dryer purchase and I am pleased as punch with my drying machine. I am a big fan of the size of the tumbler and all of the cycle options available for my drying needs. The buzzer is something else. It buzzes shortly before the drying cycle is complete - which is a feature I really like. The sound level was set on "Medium" when one of the delivery guys turned it on for its test run. I was cruising around my abode doing my thing when the buzzer sounded and it was LOUD. Initially, I was confused; a little freaked out; and shocked about the obnoxious sound then it dawned on me that it was the dryer. Thankfully, it's adjustable and now I have a stress-free buzzer. However, I like that the obnoxious sound is an option; in the event I'm rockin' out and have my music turnt up or I am in the kitchen whippin' up some liquid goodies with my blender or I am using a buzz saw at a neighbor's place five houses down - I take comfort in the knowledge that I will be more than aware when my delicates are about to stop tumbling.
