I also like having a light inside the drum so I can see loading and unloading my clothes. I am over 30 days in and I'm very satisfied with this purchase and give this front loader a 5-star recommendation!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome I’ve been using the GE® ENERGY STAR® 5.0 cu. ft. Capacity Smart Front Load Steam Washer for a few weeks now, and I’m seriously impressed. First off, the UltraFresh Vent System with OdorBlock™ actually works—no more musty smell like my old front loader. That alone makes this washer a winner. The SmartDispense™ feature is a big time-saver. It automatically adds the right amount of detergent, and I don’t have to refill it for several loads. Super convenient. The steam option is great for deep cleaning and refreshing clothes, especially my work gear and towels. And with 5.0 cu. ft. capacity, I can wash a week’s worth of laundry or bulky bedding in one go. The WiFi connectivity is a nice bonus—I get notifications when the cycle is done, and I can even start a load from my phone. Overall, this washer is quiet, powerful, and packed with thoughtful features. It looks sharp too. If you're on the fence, don’t be. This machine makes laundry easier, cleaner, and a whole lot more efficient. Highly recommend!

I was coming from a GE that I had for 10 years and this one is an upgrade despite me really loving my old one two of the things that I really appreciate are that it vent the machine —which airs it out and the Reminders in the app that let you know that you have wet clothes and how long they’ve been in there. There’s even an option to continue to tumble the clothes over an extended period to keep them fresh instead of just allowing them to sit. Has someone who has ADHD I really appreciate the reminders. There is also an area where you can add a certain amount of laundry detergent and it will dispense based on the weight of the clothes. I’ve only had it for a little over a month but so far so good. Additionally, they are all quite a few cycles to choose from, and although I haven’t tried to customize a cycle, you can do that too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great upgrade We replaced an old Maytag Centennial washer with this unit. The capacity is great, handling fairly large laundry loads easily. While some cycles take longer than expected, it still beats the Maytag which was starting to need multiple cycles to get stuff clean. The other major plus is that it's fairly quiet. I had to turn on the internal light to make sure that it was actually running.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very happy with my GE washer! So far I am very pleased with my new GE washing machine. I have plenty of room for larger loads and the machine is so much quieter than my last one that was not a GE. My clothes come out clean and I love the automatic detergent dispenser. I am also very impressed with the Ultra Fresh Vent system. It does a great job of drying out the drum so that my seal doesn’t get moldy like it did in my last machine. There are more cycles than I will ever use. I do wish the app offered more options than just telling me how much time is left on my cycle. Maybe GE will give that an upgrade one day. Overall I am extremely happy with this washing machine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best washing machine on the market This washing machine checks all the boxes of things that I wanted in a washing machine, not only is it Beautiful to look at the capacity of how much laundry it can hold is A+, The noise level is very quiet many different cycles to choose from and it gets my clothes clean every time the best feature about this washing machine is that it also has a vent cycle which prevents the washing machine from growing mold, another great feature is the Wi-Fi capability where you can also track your laundry’s cycle and get notified when your clothes are finished. Best purchase I’ve made in 2024.
