Great First Impression

Such a great appliance!
This dryer is so great! It dries all my clothes/items usually after one cycle including thick and bulky items. It’s a large capacity and can handle king sized blankets as well as the sheets in one load. The appliance is quiet and the features are great! I also love that I can sync it to my app so I can monitor it while upstairs or out of the house.

This dryer out performs every dryer I have ever owned! This dryer is energy efficient, it doesn't heat up the house, dries clothes quickly without a bunch of static. It has a huge capacity I can dry my comforts and weighted blankets! It has cycles for all your clothing needs. The noise level of this dryer is non existent you don't even know it is on until it completes the cycle and plays the alert sound which is the least annoying cycle ending sound I've ever heard it is a nice change of pace. This is the first dryer I've had that I didn't turn the sound off on.

Great Dryer with one minor quibble
Overall, we love the GE dryer. It can hold a lot of clothes, energy usage is low, and it does a great job of drying clothes. The only feature that needs to addressed is that the volume on the end of cycle alarm could be adjusted. The washer and dryer are in a separate space and the dryer alarm is soft you cannot hear it unless you are in the laundry room. I called the dealer and he did some research and said that volume could not be adjusted on that model. I would have that this would a basic feature on all units but it appears that the volume is only adjustable on the very high end units and this unit was not exactly cheap. Maybe GE might include tha feature on a firmware update.

Love it
I love GE and will forever be loyal to this brand. When I have purchased other brands it’s always been one problem after another. GE has always been dependable for my family. This dryer is efficient, can dry large capacity items and I love the Smart settings.
