Great overall dryer!
Just bought this dyer five days ago. It replaced a dryer that was 20 years old. It holds a large capacity of clothes which is amazing! It's also amazingly quiet! Our washer and dryer is in our mudroom right off the kitchen and we can't hear the dryer running at all! We had gotten used to the whole house shaking and squeaking from our dryer so this is insanely worth it! Uses way less energy then much older appliance we replaced and everything is actually dryer when the cycles finish! Lots of cycles to still check out!

GE GFD65 Clothes Dryer
The Capacity is great. The machine is a LOT quieter than our old Samsung front load dryer. Dries the clothes fast and we have 5 dogs and it does a great job removing the dog hair from our laundry.

Best dryer ever
This is the best dryer and washer set I have ever owned. I have owned Electrolux Maytag whirlpool and this is by far the best. First of all it actually gets everything dry and one cycle there’s no need to repeat drying cycles therefore, you save on energy cost, which is a big deal to me. It has every cycle you could need plus a sanitize and a steam option. It is very quiet very easy to use and the very best feature is the lint trap the way it is designed makes it so easy to get all the lint out of your dryer. I am so glad GE listened to customer feedback and changed Their lint trap design. The capacity is amazing As well.

Loaded with features and quality!
This washer and dryer was purchased based on reviews including a review from a family member. In the past, we've owned flagship units from Maytag and Whirlpool and thought we'd give GE a try. We also purchased the pedestals. I'm happy to report that these GE appliances appear to be superior in features and quality than our past washers and dryers. The dryer's steam feature, the washer's ability to add an entire bottle of detergent for several wash cycles, and their network connectivity are just a few of the features we're looking forward to using for a long time. Clothes are clean and dry. As far as reliabilty, time will tell, but so far, so good. Thanks GE!

Works Great!
Really like this dryer so far. Haven’t had to run multiple cycles to get clothes dry like our old LG. The steam feature is also great. It actually pulls from the waterline instead of having to pour water into a receptacle in the dryer like our old one.

I have only had it for a couple of weeks, but it dries everything in the load equally so far. I have had problems with that in the past. The refresh cycle is great, but I don’t understand how a dryer can make something damp that was dry!

Efficient!

Looks great.
Transitioning from an Electrolux washer and dryer that is about 10 years old. I was never really satisfied with them. When looking at replacements we focused on GE since that is what all our other main appliances are and we have always been happy with them. It is a great unit easy to use and is a lot faster than the old set. I would strongly recommend them.

The best home upgrade purchase Of 2025
I constantly have to do wash; with the features and capacity of this washer, I am able to wash my sons', husbands', mother-in-law's clothes, and towels all in one load! This efficiency saves me so much time, allowing me to focus on other household tasks. The various settings also ensure that each fabric type is treated with care, preventing any damage. Plus, the energy-saving mode gives me peace of mind about my utility bills. Overall, this washer has truly transformed my laundry routine into a much more manageable chore due to performance and durability this washer and dryer has been the best hone upgrade purxhase for oyr house yet in 2025!

Perfectly pairs with my GE Washer!
Love this dryer, paired with the washer. This is by far the best set I’ve owned. Dries my clothes quickly and efficient and pairs with my washer to make controlling my stacked unit a breeze! Highly recommend!
