I selected it because of the beautiful Slate color when we replaced all of our kitchen appliances when we remodeled our entire home. The finish is finerprint resistant and looks so beautiful with our navy blue and white cabinets. the 1.7 cubic capacity is perfect for heating up veggies or simple meals. When pans on the stove top put out too much steam, the ventillation fans clear it right out. The controls are easy to use and it provides and additional timer along with the stove for cooking multiple dishes. Even if you have used a microwave for years, it is well worth the time to read the manual as it has important information pertaining to the features of this model. It also has suggested cooking times if you are not used to using a 1000 wattage microwave. Finally, the dimensions worked perfectly in our kitchen without needing any fillers on the side. I love these appliances and am glad i purchased the extended warranties so they will be covered.
