Great performance
This is a new microwave for the exact same one we had prior. We bought the last microwave six years ago. The only reason we replaced it as there was damage the door closing mechanism. Overall, the last microwave always performed as advertised…. We expect the same from this one. It’s the reason we stayed with this product.

Time will tell…
Really like this microwave. However the first one did not last six months before the motherboard went out. Thankfully GEappliances replaced for free. I hope this one has a longer life than six months… We will see.

Product works fine and goes great with GE profile stove. When shutting the door, it's seems a bit tinny or hollow, unlike our earlier GE microwave where the door was a bit heavier and resulted in a more solid, firm closing.

A Chrome Polished Microwave Oven!
The GE, over-the-range microwave is fantastic! Installation was simple to follow, easy to use controls, large capacity oven, sensor cooking is a great feature and the ventilation is superb.
The chrome and black finish is excellent and get along with the GE range and refrigerator.
We are very please and love our GE products! Keep it up! ⭐️🤩⭐️

An excellent upgrade from countertop versions
We installed this microwave after using a countertop model for decades. The ease of use and convenience have been gamechangers for us. The installation instructions were adequate for our level of understanding. We have been very pleased with the performance, fit, and finish. We would recommend this product.

Love the settings included with this model!
So far, so good. It looks great and is very quiet. I've only had it a few weeks, and basically just heat up or re-heat things in it. I dont use it to actually "cook" food (though you could.) But I like the evenness of the popcorn setting and also the reheat and beverage settings. This is a replacement for my 29 year old GE over the stove microwave from 1997 that didn't have all those settings. I hope this new one will last at least half that long!

Really Nice Microwave!
We had a 28-year old GE microwave we really liked so we went with the JVM6175DKWW as a replacement. It turns out (at least for us) the sensor aspect really helps cook foods properly. For example, baked potatoes always cook perfectly! I installed the unit mostly myself but used help getting it up on the wall and in place. The controls operate nearly identical to our old unit so there has been little learning curve. We've used it a couple of weeks now and have no real complaints but it would be nice if we could dim the display sometimes.

Install fee worth it
The two young men can and installed the microwave in half an hour and it would have take me 3 times as long. It was well worth the install fee.

Great features
So far so good. Beautiful finish. Easy to use instructions. The vent does not blow in my face like my old one did. Great amount of space inside. The turntable is a plus. Most of all, the installers from Mega Plumbing were top notch. Very professional. I would recommend them to anyone.
