Doesn't make cooking more fun but it's easier

I'm having to learn some things about setting the temperatures for the oven, but I'm getting there. The controls for the burners are easy to handle and so far I love my new stove.

GE Gas Range Worth the Investment
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently had the GE JGBS60REK85S gas range installed and I’m genuinely impressed. The burners ignite instantly and provide smooth, responsive control—from a gentle simmer for sauces to a strong, even boil for pasta. The continuous grates feel sturdy and make it easy to slide pots around without lifting. Cleanup is simple too; spills wipe right off and the cooktop still looks brand new after a week of heavy use.
The oven heats up quickly and bakes evenly—cookies, sheet-pan dinners, and a roast all came out perfectly. I also appreciate the straightforward controls and clear display; there’s no learning curve here. Bonus points for the modern, clean look that elevates my kitchen without being flashy.
Pros: fast ignition, consistent heat, easy cleanup, sturdy grates, quick preheat, intuitive controls.
Nice to have: storage drawer is roomier than expected.

Great stove!

Perfect size.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love it. Not too big not too small. Perfect for a 3 bedroom apartment. I love how simple the oven is to use. Fit a 60lb turkey at a breeze. The burner is simple, turn all the way to ignite and turn it down by counter clockwise. Easy to clean, but the door could use a stopper. It slam loud sometimes. The buttons are self explanatory. Push and Easy timer set up.

Looks great
We are getting older, downsizing to a condo. Bought all new stainless steel GE appliances based on two things, the fingerprint resistance and the lightweight grates over the gas burners. Most cast iron burners are too large and much too heavy for a normal person to remove and clean.

Classy, intuitive controls, & dependable
My GE gas range is exactly what I needed! It is full size for family feasts, the burner style makes for easy clean up in a jiffy and the oven is easy to view with a large window. The controls are intuitive even allowing my husband to tackle on his own!

Fantastic 4 burner GE gas range!
Beautiful 4 burner gas stove! It's the perfect size for the my wife's kitchen. All the controls are right there in front, and the oven lights right up easily. Exactly what we needed, to replace an old, ancient, "old school" Tappan gas range that has seen better days.

Already Impressed
New GE gas kitchen range was recently installed, tech had it done in a reasonable time. Tech switched the natural gas components over to liquid propane, level and place the unit and verified the function of the oven and stove top burners. Stove is well designed.
The controls are well marked and very accessible for the burners at the front of the unit. It is a standard 4 burner unit with plenty of room on the stove top.
The oven, clock and timer controls are easily reached on the back panel. Very simple and efficient.
I'm already impressed with the stove after using the stove top burners for a few meals and the oven for baking.

Love that all the controls are on the top & easy to read. I also love the material the burners are made of (easy to clean). Must important it had the broiler on the bottom not in the oven.
