GE 4 Burner Electric Range
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was worried about using my cast iron pans but they fit perfectly with the burner tops they have now. Oven runs as should at temperture set. Cooks evenly both burners and oven. I love the digital touch system, not having to turn knobs and having a clock right on the stove is great for nighttime! It will cook a large turkey, or two trays of cookies, a big roast.. not disappointing! Easily cleanng option, haven't had to clean it yet. Easy to configure when setting controls. I would highly recommend this dependable product!

GE Electric Free-Standing Range
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's too soon to give an accurate assessment.
The burners appear to work well.
I thought the burner coils would heat up faster than the 20 year old Kenmore it replaced, but they heat up at about the same rate.
The oven doesn't heat up any faster than the old Kenmore, but it does appear to hold the temperature longer and it baked a cake all the way through, which was becoming an issue with the old Kenmore and the reason for replacing it.
The GE also appears to have a larger capacity oven and the warming drawer, which I use to store pots & pans anyway b/c there is little to no storagein this apartment, is larger as well, which is nice.
I wish that there were "surface cleaning" tips in the owners manual, so I don't ruin it on accident.
Also, it's been nearly impossible to completely remove the packaging tape.
The knobs for the range need a contrasting color or something b/c the all black arrows on the dials make it difficult to see if it's on or off.
Slightly wider than the Kenmore and it fits the space better.
I like the Self-clean option, although it would be nice if I could remove the door to get inside to clean better. I have a narrow galley-shaped kitchen & little room to reach in from the sides.
I wish that there were more instructions on using the oven controls; cook time, delay time, timer, etc. It'll be trial and error as this range is much different from the old one.
I like the dial & control panel placement on the back top.of the stove. Safer & easier to read which burner is in use.

Great Range

Beautiful black range
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just had the new range installed a few hours ago, and so-far have only boiled one saucepan of water. Took a while to print out the manual to find out how to do anything (set clock). The range is black and is the first element for our upcoming French Country kitchen renovation. I'm so pleased with it. It's beautiful, and we're looking forward to cooking on a stove that isn't unreliable or temperamental .
