Coming from a builder grade, entry level, GE range, this has been a huge upgrade. I love having the Slide In style versus the previous controls on the top back. Having the Slide In style helped reveal the backsplash that was thankfully installed fully. Having that space open has opened up my kitchen and makes it feel and look more spacious. There is a locking feature for the oven where controls won't be operational in the chance of accidental touch and/or to keep children safe. The cooktop is unique in all of the capabilities it has, which I look forward to utilizing all of them. The configuration of the controls and burners is quite unique, in a good way. The app is simple and was easy to set up. I got to use the remote oven feature while I was out getting a take and bake pizza last week. Pie in my face though, I didn't think about breaking in the oven and any first use protocols. I got home and immediately questioned whether there is a "seasoning" type of requirement (if you will) like grills require. Then the smell kicked it. There is. Wiping and running the oven for at least 30 mins. Pizza was delayed a bit that night... woe is me. This unit was highly researched as were multiple other brands, styles. I highly recommend this range! Oh, the Black Slate compliments Black Stainless perfectly in my eyes *chefs kiss*

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After facing the challenge of replacing a 21 year old GE range, I was nervous about finding something that could possibly take its place. I found the perfect range when I found this electric 5 burner GE product. Who knew that in the years since I had last purchased an oven, that you could find one that combined conventional baking as well as convection and air frying! On top of that, it steam cleans and has a warmer burner. The controls are easy to navigate and I feel like the oven may even be a little larger than the one I had. I would highly recommend this model to anyone who like to cook! The installation team that delivered and installed were very professional and polite.

I like the feel of the knob function and the responsiveness of the touch controls. I do wish GE would include the air fry basket, especially since they do not include a standard broiler pan.

I love the fact that the biscuits didn't burn on the bottom due to the convection baking. The inside of the oven is a good size. Love the easy clean tray that slides out for easy cleanup. The burners are a nice size and both front eyes are dual size. There's also a warmer eye for keeping things warm. The control knobs have a nice safety feature that keeps small kids from being able to turn the stove on. Overall I'm very happy with this electric range.

Previous reviews and ratings of this range plus theGE name are what led us to looking hard at this and ultimately purchasing it. It’s just my wife and I so there is more than enough capacity in the oven and on the stove top burners. Love the clean, simple control panel and the fact that the controls are on the front, not the top. Anxious to try out the air fry feature.
