Great family fridge!
We love it!!! Holds temperature really well after we adjusted the settings. Biggest fridge we could find with top freezer, and the door trays are a plus to hold loose things. Remember to peel off all the protective plastic covering when delivered and it looks nice. We put magnets on the sides to not scratch the shiny front. Learned to not stack food bags against the back of the freezer because it blocks the cold air for the freezer.

Good fit fridge
I really like this fridge. Everyone complained about the temperature but I have not had any issues with it. Great storage areas and shelving. I would like another smaller shelf to order to add more to the door cubby but I have plenty storage. I hate that it is called “garage ready”. I call it the anti smart crap fridge.

Great Reliability
Reliability - We just replaced our GE refrigerator we purchased in 2002. Because our home is 60 years old and our kitchen is small, we went with the same size and style refrigerator of our old one. Thank you for a great product with great reliability. In 24 years, we had one repair visit and two other repairs I was able to do myself.

Temps at required temps
Fridge is cold. Which is important. After multiple new fridges with bells and whistles. Return to old school top freezer.
Temps remains at a steady 36 fridge and 0 degrees freezer which has never reach those temps ever in the new expensive models.

Ice-maker
Happy with the size of the refrigerator and freezer. However, it's the worst ice maker I've ever seen. The bucket allows ice to drop out of the back side too easily.

Love the classic fridge!
I love this unit so far! I was looking for a good “classic style” refrigerator. I got the top freezer style with no frills and it seems like there is more room than my “fancy” old side by side. This refrigerator is so quiet too! I highly recommend this. I’m so glad GE even still makes this type of unit because alot of us out there are not dazzled by all the unnecessary bells and whistles and simply want a reliable refrigerator.

Exactly what I wanted
After 40 years, my Kenmore could not be revived. I wanted a bare bones fridge, freezer on top, no water or ice, glass shelves, and this fit the bill perfectly. I'm getting used to the shorter shelves due to the larger door containers. It's nice and quiet. I'm curious to see how long it will last. I'm using this in the kitchen, not the garage.

Better and Cost efficient Refrigerator.
Love my new refrigerator. Perfect size. Storage bigger and better than my old refrigerator, better capacity. Love temp and the shelves are better. And plus I read about better efficiency than my old refrigerator. Cleans easier and hardly any noise for a garage ready refrigerator. Would recomend.

Spacious Refrigerator
This refrigerator and the freezer have spacious storage with sufficient shelving. I couldn't believe all the storage available in the door of the fridge. Soon after installation, the temperature in the fridge was cooled to 37 degrees. The only thing that I would change/improve about this refrigerator is the noise. It is a bit noisy, compared to our old refrigerator.

Capacity and Temp
The fridge is working great in the garage and has plenty of room. One wish would be to add another storage drawer that can hang from the top shelf. The delivery man set the temp to the recommended setting. It was not cold enough,..the food felt on the warm side in the fridge section. We turned the temp lower and it works great now.

Stick with what works
I replaced my double door Samsung refrigerator after a piece broke off the ice maker. I LOVE THIS model! The temperature 3 setting keeps food colder than my previous one. I'm able to store more food items than my previous one. And GE is the best brand there is. Plus, I don't have to be worried with replacing a water filter every 6 months as there's no ice maker. Wish I had bought this the first time!!!
