The NEW Technology with GE Washing machine purchased is great. Easy to select different water temps, soiled or unsoiled, and the Spin Cycle ALMOST has the clothing dry!! What a difference from the other agitator washers. Dry time is almost cut in half!

Wonderful features!
Even though mine does not have the big agitator, I love it! It allows me to add extra water when I don’t like the water level it is trying to wash. I do wish it would let me add extra water to the colt selection, but I am still learning it and there may be an option in there somewhere for it. Washes good and so far, I super love it!

No more Squealing
No more Squealing. Our previous Washer, which was not A GE, was just over two and a half years old and the gear box went bad. Every time it spun it would squeal so loud that the neighbors could hear it. After this bad experience we decide to go back and purchase a GE Washer with better features and durability, which we had in the past. We chose the tip load and a preference for no agitator and larger capacity a 5.0 cu' instead of 3.9 cu ' which we previously had. What a difference. It is easier to use with the menu and the larger size means less loads to wash. Only put four loads through and very satisfied. Our old washer because of the mechanical issues the clothes after spin would come out very wet. With the new washer the clothes are spun out to the point that there is less drying time. We had a washer very similar to the GE before the one that we replaced and that was one of the reasons that we wanted a similar washer with no agitator. We hope that the quality of the GE washer gives us a longer lifetime and no mechanical issues like a bad gear box.

Love it!
I LOVE our new GE Profile washer. It was priced well and we got a lot of bells and whistles. For instance, if you hook up the WiFi, it tells you when your wash cycle is done.

Why does the machine automatically turn back on when you open the lid to empty the washed clothes and how do I disable this feature; other than to hold down the power button every time I complete a load of laundry? It is not anywhere in the owners manual.
