[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dryer is super quiet. So quiet that we no longer have to close our laundry room door to the kitchen! I can do all of my clothes in one load. The controls are user friendly. The dryer finishes up faster than my old dryer.

A Great and Efficient Dryer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased my new dryer and from the onset it is performing beyond my expectations. It is quieter than my previous dryer, able to handle my king size comforter and other large load items, and the controls are way to understand. I know my electric bill has come down a lot based on this and. other recently purchased items. Bottom line, a good buy.

Hands down, BEST BUY.
We searched several brands and these new GE Profile set were the best overall buy for the money. Great look and ease of use, the controls are easy to navigate. My best feature ( for my wife, of course) was the ability to switch the door swing direction to make loading and unloading a breeze. The larger capacity tubs saves time and money and we both agreed that the clothes seemed cleaner and brighter. The first thing we noticed was how quiet it was because the laundry is next to the kitchen and that was just an added blessing. Great overall choice if you’re looking for Capacity, Features and Energy rating. Highly recommended.

Capacity, Set Up, Performiace
Got my new Dryer today was a breeze to set up, After running the initial quick dry to clean it out from the factory as I was instructed to. I put three soaking wet beach towels in the dryer set up my app and within minutes it was running. The dryer is so quiet which our old one was sounding like a rocket ship launching into space. I am excited to fit my king size comforter in this thing as its so much bigger. Also looking forward to the energy savings and using the Smart Washer Link. Towels dried in record time.

Go for it! this is a great product.
We needed a high-capacity gas dryer; and since our stove/range and refrigerator are GE (and have been excellent for 5 years so far) we looked into the GE Profile 7.8cuft gas dryer. Overall positive reviews online so we went for it. We love the modern classy look, the ease of controls; and the size is perfect for even tight spaces for such a high-capacity dryer. It's very quiet too. We noticed very little noise. It's extremely efficient to boot. We've only had it 24 hours, but so far after 4 loads it is everything we were looking for. Clothes get dry but not "fried." We skipped the pedestals to save money and we don't miss them. Oh, and we love that we don't have to download an app to access the wash cycles like you have to with LG- who needs more screen time when you're doing laundry? Don't hesitate. You can research yourself in circles these days. GE is top-notch.

Smart but also simple and straightforward
The dryer is on our network and can communicate with the washer. It takes its settings from it and so far has been spot on in terms of settings and duration of running. It’s using propane and it’s too early to say how efficient it’s being but anecdotally it seems like the burner on time is short so I’m hoping consumption is low. It’s quiet, easy to load and unload and everything is perfectly dry.
One negative note. My wife noticed damage to a few articles of clothing after drying. I found the metal sensor on the front lip was proud of the mount and sharp edges were coming in contact with the clothing. I was able to very easily recess it and problem solved. Not worth deducting a star over.

Excellent Dryer – Fast, Quiet, and Efficient!
I recently purchased the GE dryer and couldn’t be happier with my choice. From the start, it’s been a great experience. Great Appliances ! Totally worth the money!
