The updraft vent with the multiple settings is a great improvement to providing over range venting. The large size handles anything we need to microwave. The power settings are so much more powerful than our previous microwave leading to faster heating and cooking times. And the installation was quick and fit seemlessly into the cabinetry we had. All said would recommend this unit to all.

It has so many amazing features that I have not even tested them all but the features I have used (and I’ve used most) perform exactly as expected - and I expected perfection. I highly recommend this over the range oven. Using the suggested review topics of DE, its capacity is large enough to cook almost anything. Its controls are easy to see and read and make sense. There are SOOO many features that make this microwave easy to use. And I LOVE the Chef Connect feature that syncs functions like lighting and venting with my new GE Profile range. I had the microwave professionally installed and the installers seem to have no problem. Its power levels have been perfect and I love the Sensor feature. Again, I recommend this product highly!

Now, after 7 years, I am replacing my Kitchenaid appliances with new GE Profile. I love this microwave! My only complaint is the factory quality control needs to up have an overhaul. My original microwave was damaged IN THE BOX. No visible damage to the actual box. Had to wait an additional 1.5 weeks for the replacement. No happy with that but LOVE the microwave itself.

The controls are a bit hard to push so you must use some force. I fear that with time that will cause the plastic to crack. The main complaint I have is the surface light. It gets so hot that the inside of the microwave also heats up. Other than that I really like my new microwave.

The microwave was a perfect fit to replace my old GE microwave oven (I measured first to ensure a good fit - my old GE microwave was 20 years old and still going - now at my nephew's house). The outside venting fan is wonderful - takes cooking smells from the house and pushes outside very quickly and efficiently. While the fan is somewhat loud, there is only so much that can be done about fan noise. Features are all I need in a microwave, and controls are easy to read and understand. Capacity is bigger than my prior 20-year old GE microwave.
