Great so far
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the fact that I can put a pan anywhere on the grid (configuration). Quick ignition lighting, controls look good but since I just got it installed I’m not sure yet if it’s going to be difficult to maintain clean

Looks & Works great so far

Burning Faster

Love the Look

Perfect for a Busy Family Kitchen!
This cooktop handles everything our busy family of five can throw at it! We needed something powerful, spacious, and easy to clean, and the GE Profile gas cooktop delivers on all fronts.
We regularly have multiple pots going at once—pasta boiling, sauce simmering, and vegetables sautéing. The five burners provide plenty of room, and the continuous grates are a lifesaver with kids around, making the cooktop feel much more stable and secure.
The speed of the powerful burners is fantastic for weeknight dinners, but what really impressed me is the low simmer. I can finally make my grandmother's slow-cooked recipes without worrying about burning them. Cleanup is surprisingly easy thanks to the sealed design. It wipes down quickly and always looks new.
It's a stylish, functional, and incredibly reliable workhorse. We couldn't be happier with our choice!

Very good cooktop.
This new GE cooktop is “hotter” and I must be careful when cooking. The pans get very hot and I must use a hot pad . I purchased 3 GE appliances to replace my old ones. By replacing GE appliances with GE appliances everything fits perfectly.

Second One, last one lasted 21 years!
This is my second Profile cooktop, original 2004 model lasted 21 years! Easy to clean…can’t wait to try the additional 2 power boil burners & small burner, which are both a nice upgrade. Ordered cast iron griddle.

Great features
Replaced a Whirlpool cooktop with this one. Great upgrade. This unit is sturdy, and very well built. The top grates run together flawlessly so I can move pots and pans around without catching on an uneven ridge. The backlit knobs are perfect when cooking, and when the little ones visit.

Great cooktop
Burner controls light up, which I found very helpful. The configuration for the back middle burner is better than the old model that I replaced, as it is closer to controls. Very attractive replacement cooktop in my kitchen and seems very reliable.

New black cooktop
Love the way this cooktop looks and works. It's easy to light and clean. Even though it's black it doesn't seem to show the smudges that much. The grates are also easy to maintain so far. Love that the burner knows light up when they're turned on. It's also nice having 2 high output burners in just the right places.
