Everything worked as should and the optional griddle I purchased with it was a nice touch. My last GE cooktop still worked after 17 years. I just wanted a new one and this one doesn’t disappoint. Easy install for DIY’ers like myself.

The lighted knobs allow for quick determination if the burner is still on, the higher grate allow for faster heating both under and around the pot/pan and the move of the Rapid Boil burner to center to allow for larger pots more easily was a smart design move.

However, if I needed them, parts were no longer available, so we opted to go I the current 5 burner Profile and we love it right down to the lit dials.! It looks modern and the burners are set up in a very nice order with two power boil burners that I have used simultaneously on a few occasions. Really glad we made the decision to go with another GE Profile range top.
