Great combo fixture
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This flood light plus camera is a great combination fixture. I only have one fixture outside, so would otherwise have to choose. Works great with the rest of the Nest system. I would recommend it if you have a place that is dark and needs both a camera and lights.

Love this nest cam/floodlight
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed this unit where an existing porch light had been and wow what a huge improvement. The installation was pretty quick taking me overall about 30 minutes. Kit comes with everything you will need to mount to 3in or 4 in pancake box. I like the fact you can easily replace the cam if need be. The floodlights on this unit are amazing and work beautifully. Setting up the app and device was quick and easy. In the app, it is easy to adjust timmer and sensitivity settings to your liking. All around great product highly recommend to anyone looking to add a quality security product to their property.

Incredible technology

The installation was relatively easy and not taking an excessive amount of time to set up and install. It is not too heavy but very sturdy and quality constructed. The technology is incredible in it's ability to differentiate between people, wildlife and vehicles. The camera provides a great, clear picture when reviewing. Great Features!

If you have the Home app installed it will walk you through the process to get your camera connected to your wifi. Great security camera and floodlight
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Google Nest Cam is so easy to install that I decided to replace one of our outside porch lights on the side of our house to a flood light for night use and have the added option for video recording and notifications. The smooth, matte, white camera and floodlight are modern and expensive looking. The packaging includes the mounting plates, screws, ground wire, three wire connectors and instructions along with the lights and camera. Not only do you get easy, detailed instructions there is also an app that explains the install process step by step making it easy to follow; the entire install process took less than 20 minutes. It was really easy, just three wires to connect, a few screws to mount and secure the Nest Cam and setting it up via the app.
The live and recorded images displayed in the app are very clear and the floodlight really lights the area. Night vision on the camera works great and once the floodlights are activated by the built-in motion sensor the image changes to color. You can zoom in/out of live or paused video within the app. Like other Google cameras, it is held on with a magnet which makes it easy to adjust to the area.
This is a great security device for the price, it was very easy and fast to install and I would recommend it to anyone in this market, especially for those who may already have Google Nest products in their home or office.

Great quality camera
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The google nest flood light camera has been a huge blessing to our home. The quality other camera is so great that we were able to get a clear picture of the person who stole from our property. The police were able to identify the and locate the robber from the video.
The camera was fairly easy to install an the app is super easy to use is very easy to use. We especially like that it’s wired so we don’t have to worry about charge it and avoid missing any important recording. Another great feature is the two way talking. It was super helpful when I was out of town and was able to ask delivery person to leave my package with the neighbor. It’s an overall great camera and has not given me any issues since using for closed to two months. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a good quality camera.

Phenomenal home security
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nest Cam Spotlight camera is super clear & provides a great picture. Installation is easy, directions provided are easy to follow & straight forward. We replaced an existing floodlight & installation took about 20 minutes start to finish. The light we replaced has a ceiling mount & installation/replacement is super easy. The app allows you to flip the image to ensure the image is displayed correctly, if you use a ceiling mount, you will need to do this in the Setting section of the app. The Google app provides a user-friendly video for added support. I really love the notification feature that the app offers, the camera is quite excellent & provides a notification on your phone anytime a person is detected and you can speak with the person from the app from wherever you are, day or night. This feature is super handy & really enhances your home security. The spotlights are bright and do a great job illuminating the area at night. We've been so impressed with the Nest Cam Floodlight that we're considering switching completely to Nest products (doorbell & cameras). I cannot recommend this product highly enough.

Great Video Quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great wifi camera and floodlight. It will install into an existing light fixture, but we had an electrician put in a new spot. The floodlight is plenty bright and you can adjust its brightness level. The camera is magnetically attached so its really easy to position. The picture quality is amazing, even at night. It gives me peace of mind to be able to see what's happening live and have a recording with a subscription. I feel like having this camera over my garage is also a theft deterrent. It's also kind of fun just to watch the video and see what really goes on outside my house!

Works great

The one note is that it is hardwired, so if you don’t already have a hardware light that you can replace, you’ll need to factor in the cost of having the wires run. We forgot to take this into account when we ordered the product, but are still super happy that we chose it.

Definite peace of mind!

Many features and app makes it a breeze!

I hired an electrician who installed it in no time. This product has lots of features. I especially like the different zones, adjustable brightness and ability to speak through the camera. the quality of the video is good and the app is easy to navigate.

Great camera and light
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Google Nest Cam with Floodlight is a great setup for added home security. I chose to install it on my front porch using the existing junction box because the light switch must be kept on all the time. It was straightforward though I had to improvise with washers because the mounting plate screws were a bit too long. After setting it up on the Google Home app, I can view and hear what is happening at my front door. I'll be curious to see how well it works when I'm not home.

Easter Set Up & Peace Of Mind!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few months ago. It is wired and my husband and I were able to easily wire it with a video we watched online. I absolutely love that is is a spotlight and a camera in one!! I love the app and the ease of use in incredible!! We even bought one for my 89 year old grandma and she can easily work the app. This brings such a sense of security to us. Your an choose to sign up for the service or just use it as is! So honestly you do not need to buy anything else if you choose not to. The packaging was excellent, directions are very clear and we have had 2 large snow storms with over a foot of snow and 40mph winds and it is still PEFECT!!!

Connected easily!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had the Nest home thermostat for about 3 years! We love it and it has learned our schedule and temperature preferences. We just installed the floodlight cams from Nest. Installation by a homeowner and only took about 2 hours including mounting. The connections instructions were very simple. Floodlight brightness is about 80% of our old ones, but the camera can definitely see on the dark too. Second point is we replaced this from another doorbell company floodlight cam because we kept losing connectivity. Never happened with the Nest cam so far.

Fantasic Cam and Floodlight
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our neighborhood has had a lot of opportunity related theft. Teens checking door handles on cars in driveways and the occasional stolen car. We mounted the flood and camera unit right above the garage door but high enough that a thief couldn't snatch the camera off. We absolutely love it. Love that we can select the sensitivity of the motion activated light but the best part to me is that I can adjust the brightness of the lights. We sit fairly close to the street so we don't want to hit our neighbors across the street with a lot of light. We live in a night sky zone so we are limited on the brightness of exterior lights as well. The ability to talk through the camera is wonderful. We haven't had to use it with an unwanted person yet but we did have fun with it reminding the teen to lock his car before coming in the house. The camera is attached magnetically and we did hire an electrician to run the wiring for us since we mounting it in a place that didn't have accessible wiring.

Great security lighting!

Now, whenever there is movement close to our house, the floodlight comes on and we can see clearly if there any trespassers or animals in our yard. I really like the camera feature, which captures clear video and is very easy to operate. We pan to get a couple more of these for other areas of our home!

Awesome sound and video quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have this camera installed in my backyard mostly to keep an eye on that area and my chicken coop. So far I am truly impressed with the clarity of the images that the camera picks up. I get alerts with the slightest movement detected which is what I needed to see if anything was lurking around the coop. The light is very bright it lights up the area very well and it has been incredibly handy to be able to speak through the camera to whoever is in the area.

The camera has great picture and night vision. Setup was very easy and the app walked us through our step by step. We placed this on our driveway and get alerts when there is activity. You'll Love It Too
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a huge fan of the Google Nest - Nest Cam with Floodlight (wired) and have multiple cameras at my primary residence and my vacation home that I rent out via Airbnb. No matter where you are in the world you can log into the app and see what's happening. You can set the cameras up with motion sensors to alert you whenever it senses motion.
As a landlord, you'll ask yourself, "How could I have lived without this before". For my Airbnb's that are 175miles away from home, I use the cameras to know when my new guests first arrive for their stay and when they check out. I use it to know when my cleaners have completed their clean so that I can notify the new guest that the house is ready for them. I have hot tubs at the Airbnb and I used to have an issue with random people, not my Airbnb guests, sneaking in and using the hot tubs between guests. Not any more ... I caught a couple of groups trying to use the tubs and I spoke into the app, telling the people that I have them on video and that I was calling the police. They immediately left and never came back. In the spring and summer, I watch the black bears and baby cubs wander around the yard playing and sniffing my bear-proof trash bin.
These are also very reliable, always on, and impervious to cold weather.
If I could offer more than 5 stars, I would :)

Easy install and great quality product!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy with the Nest Cam with Floodlight. It was packaged very nicely and immediately indicated to me that it was going to be a high-quality product. The instructions included were very easy to follow. I asked my brother-in-law to come over to help me, but after walking through the instructions I could have replaced my existing floodlight with this one on my own. It did not take more than 30-40 minutes to install which I was very happy about. I had used the nest app in the past for cameras and wasn't sure how it would be using the google home app, but I am also pleased with that. It was simple to connect to and even gave me additional information about the installation process, making it even easier.
I really enjoy all of the features available in the app and how I can customize how I want to receive notifications and when and I like that I can choose to set the lights to be on during certain times. The floodlights give off a lot of light and cover a good amount of my driveway and yard. I am very impressed with the camera quality. Images are very clear. The fact that the camera will continue to work even if there is a power outage is an additional bonus that I haven't had to use yet, but I am happy that it is a feature. The google home app has been loading the camera super fast after I get notifications as well so that I feel like I am able to check on things extremely quick after I get a notification.
I am very happy that I got rid of my old floodlight for this one. It was easy to install, is easy to use, and has features to make it work just right for me.

Bright and adjustable

The motion sensor is nice as it's very sensitive and detects obvious movement but doesn't activate every time a tree blows. The mounting hardware included has everything needed to place about anywhere and is simple to install and setup. The app is very intuitive and has lots of settings for any schedule. You get handy alerts to motion from anywhere as long as you have internet on your phone

Great Lights
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You get great control over the lighting activation and intensity by using scheduled on off times or just setting it to be motion activated. I found that the camera quality is crisp and sharp allowing you to soft zoom and still make out details at a reasonable distance. The included app is clean and easy to navigate, it even adds a siren option for the floodlight camera which would defiantly surprise anyone up to no good.

This provides more than enough light to see everything that is happening close in and also on the porch. I like that it has a night feature and we have caught a lot of critter activity which has been fun to watch. The install was easy as there was an existing light where we installed it. Wired up very quickly and jumped onto our wireless signal without any issues. A classic easy Google Nest install without issue.

Super Happy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nest Cam with floodlights is fantastic and I'm super happy with it. No problem installing it the S hook made it easy along with the video on the Nest app. Looks great, aesthetically very pleasing. Being able to swivel the lights to the desired location without them flopping about was a big plus. Love the lighting, crisp and bright, bathes a large area in clear, even light. Video quality is very impressive which I expect from Google of course. Best of all is the amazing video, the microphone can pick up someone whispering from at least ten feet away. Overall a great product and a big upgrade to the house.

Is this actually wireless without requiring an electrician?
It has to be wired like any other light. Be careful they don’t mention on the box you must pay for service if you wanna record video longer than 3 hours. They’re sneaky about it
