Computer Good: Windows 11 Bad
The computer came with Windows 11 installed. I'm an old man and hate wasting what time I have left learning new stuff when old stuff works just fine. I hate Windows 11. Every change from Windows 10 that I've encountered is a step back.
Before M'soft ended W10 support, I download W10 installation media and W10 drivers. Now I'm try to work up the nerve to install Windows 10. Besides familiarity, another upside is that M'soft won't be bothering me with updates.

Upgrade From Six-year-old Pavilion
I upgraded from a six-year-old HP Pavilion for speed and storage. It made a tremendous difference. Everything runs faster and better. The process was quite simple using PC mover Ultimate. I couldn't be more pleased.

Reliable Powerhouse for Creative & Daily Use
I’ve been using the HP OmniDesk Desktop AI PC for several weeks now, and it has quickly become the heart of my creative and day-to-day setup. The performance is excellent — fast startup, smooth multitasking, and plenty of power for video editing, audio work, and general office use. I also appreciate how quiet it runs, even under heavier loads.
Setup Experience: Setup was simple and straightforward. Within minutes I had it connected to my peripherals and network, and it recognized everything without issues. The design is clean, compact, and fits well into my workspace.
What I Like Most: Speed and stability. It handles resource-heavy projects without slowing down, which makes a big difference for productivity. The AI-assisted optimization features feel like a real plus — I notice apps opening faster and system performance staying consistent throughout the day.
Areas for Improvement: I’d like to see more USB-C ports available on the front panel for convenience, as well as clearer instructions on some of the bundled software. Not deal-breakers, but small tweaks that could make the experience even better.
Daily Use: I use it daily for both creative projects (video, audio, and image production) and personal tasks (emails, browsing, streaming). It’s been reliable across the board.
Overall, the HP OmniDesk Desktop AI PC is a strong machine for anyone who wants speed, stability, and easy setup in a modern desktop.

HP is the best!
I've had a couple of HP AIOs, but I wanted a tower this time. Initially, I tried another brand, but I could not get it to daisy chain with two monitors no matter what I tried. I got mad and returned everything! After a couple of months, I shopped around again and finally decided on the OmniDesk PC. What can I say? HP for the win!!

The OmniDesk is great. I just don't like Windows 11, but I guess I'm going to have to get used to it. I also like the keyboard that came with the computer. I've been using an old HP keyboard since I bought my first computer and hated to give it up.

New Omni Desk
Hp has always been a reliable company. Set up was very simple except for attaching an older modem. Use it daily for email, social media and playing games. Very pleased.

Functionality
Reasonable size with a fast ssd drive. Ample ram and various ports for external devices. I just can't get used to not having a cd drive or a slot for a sd card reader, needed to purchase seperately. Except for these disappointments, I would have given it five stars.

CPU-Great! Keyboard & Mouse? Didn't work.
The CPU is working great but the keyboard and mouse that came with it won't work so using old ones. I don't need instructions on how to hook up a computer, but just know there were no such instructions and only weak pictures on how to hook up the keyboard and mouse...which didn't work.

Too much intrusion onmy life from the OS.
My problem is really not the pc issue.,I have an isdue with windows and microdoft security
.everh 10 minutes the OS is badgering mr me use festures
I hate all the inrerruptions to look look at al the so called new fetures which are only there to examine my purchasing habits. Get out oy my businrss and just give me e mail and a basic OS.

dNew desktop and for two days could not use because the screen showed vibrating words and then it would not shut down. Could be the monitor. Need to call hp.
