Hunter fans quietly do their job.
We have installed three of these low profile fans in my home, and four in my son’s new home. They are beautiful, whisper quiet, and the remote adds satisfying convenience. We love the quality, beauty, and performance of Hunter fans.

Adjust the dimmer!
My wife wanted to return this because the light was so dim, but through a bit of trial and error found that it does have a build in dimmer. Just press and HOLD the light button and it will cycle through 9 steps of brightness, first dimming then brightening. Release the button when it reaches the level you want. At the brightest setting it is probably equal to the 2 x 800 lumen bulbs we had in the room previously.
I'm willing to bet some of the negative reviews and returns are from folks that did not realize there is a dimmer. Can't blame them since there is no user manual and nothing is mentioned in the installation guide.
Now that it is bright, we love it. Fan is super quiet and provides great airflow and light in our small bedroom. Only negative is that we wish the remote was white rather than black.

Nice new style fits my makeover
Like everything about the fan only wish the top canopy screws were white like the canopy. Lights are fair but not bad wouldn't want them to be the only light source.

Perfect!
We just bought a canopy bed and needed something super low profile, since we have standard height ceilings. Even most low profile fans are greater than a foot deep. However, this one at 10” is PERFECT! It looks clean and modern, and I love the stark contrast in options between the wood blade and solid black. It was also easy to install and we had no problems! Not to mention, the remote is game changing!!

Minimal fan maximal air movemment
We had these fans installed in our children's rooms. They are super cute, small and minimal, but really nice. They are true black and super low profile. This fan all though its small really moves the air. it has multiple settings and works so well. We love it!

Fan good, Light not so much
The FAN portion works well. It’s a bit louder on high than I would prefer but we probably won’t run it at high very often. It does seem to move a lot of air. The LIGHT, however, is very dim. Even though this fan is in a small room (less than 10’x10’), it does not give enough light to adequately read by or do other technical tasks. We did not plan on using it as our only light source, thankfully. Otherwise the room would be woefully under lit. And as other reviewers have noted, the placement of the LED diodes creates a dark spot in the middle of the lens so it looks dirty when on. We will primarily be using this fan just for the air movement and not the light.

Almost perfect
The fan is almost perfect. Only negative thing about it is when wiring to a switch the fan does not operate on its own switch. One switch is the designated power and then other operates the light only. The one switch has to be on at all times in order for the fan to operate. Shouldn’t be that way. I hope they fix this in the future.

nice and compact, but led is bright.
i like the style, look and low profile of this fan! so hard to find a good looking fan with a light! definitely do not like the chirping sound it makes when you change functions on the remote - like fan speed, etc. will try to disable this ourselves. Want to know, can you use a dimmer switch on the wall for this fan? The light is so bright and the LED is so blue.

Great low profile fan but....
Fan is great low profile, moves plenty of air and the design is sleek. However, when hooked up to a switch, the fan will only remain in either high or low, not medium. So if you leave the fan on medium, turn switch off, the next time you turn the switch on it will default back to high. If you leave it on low it will start back up on low, just no medium. Not sure if this is a flaw particular to mine or if they are all like that.

Perfect For The Minimalist
A beautifully simple fan for a lower ceiling height and very versatile. I was a bit remiss about the control options. There is some wobble, but for what it’s worth I hardly care. After studying the features I was happy with my purchase. The only want should be matching remote and holder; I bout a white fan and found a black remote and holder in the box

Light Flickers
I installed this fan about 18 months ago and for the past 3 months the light flickers. I installed that same fan in another room that does not get used often and so far no flicker but worried it will start doing the same based on other online reviews I've read. When it did work the light was not bright.

Poor lighting
I bought this fan because it was a ceiling hugger and was from a quality company. I am installing a wall bed and needed the clearance. The fan is quiet and does not wobble.
I gave 3 stars because of the light. You might as well not have a light because it is so poor. Because of the ring light bulb it looks like you have bugs and dirt on your light. I am now going to have to figure out how to add light to this room. I have added three pictures: one shows the room without the light and then one with; not much difference. Also included is picture of light with dark ring.
Hunter needs to rethink this light.

Minimus fan review
I like the fan, and it was easy to install. But it is the only fan I have installed (including other Hunter models) which did not have a ring around the base to hide the screws which attach the fan to the bracket. Most fans have a plastic ring which snaps in place to cover the mounting screws - this fan did not.

Lighting source is poor and seems to be severe wob

Great Airflow for such a low profile

Cons:
-Remote is bad (rewired so its wall controlled by Lutron, not something everyone will do
-No way its 1700 lumens, ran it straight to 120 VAC to check it and as well via controller
-light uneven source (takes away from style)
-worst wobble that I cant seem to balence

Great looking fan, poor light
We got 4 of the Minimus fans for all the bedrooms. The fans look great and I particularly like the low profile. However, I have school aged children who do homework in their bedrooms, as well as working from home myself during the pandemic. The light is neither bright, nor white as listed in the specs. It's quite yellow. And it has very low output - even at the brightest settings. I previously had LED lights in every room that were 2200 lumens. This is a fraction and rather disappointing.

Great fan … annoying BEEPS!
Fan looks great, easy to install and moves a lot of air. However, I've never had a light fixture beep every time I turn it on/off. I understand having the beep to indicate the fan received command from the remote control to change fan speed or direction. But why would one need a beep to indicate the light turned on/off? You can see that happen when you flip switch! Hunter should really consider adding the ability to disable the beep.

Great looking, but doesn't circulate enough air
I installed two Hunter Minimus fans, one in my exercise room and one in my office. These fans are great look looking and quiet, but the don't circulate enough air. I had to put an additional fan in the room even with the Minimus on its highest setting. I wouldn't recommend these fans.

Looks great in small room
I have had this fan installed for 4 months and the remote is no longer working. May be the battery however this is a spare room and not used often enough for battery to go bad already. What do you suggest?

Look elsewhere!
Not happy with fan, light is dim, not great quality, switches don’t work with fan, have to use remote, center part that spins isn’t perfectly round, so as it spins around the light it looks cheap.

Tiny flaw that would be so easy to fix!
Fan is fine but the canopy screws are exposed and they are shiny metal on my white fan. Totally detracts from the appearance of the fan and makes it look very cheap. It’s the first thing I see when entering the room. Hunter does not have color matched screws or a paint touch up kit. I was advised by customer support to consider spray painting them. Was planning to purchase another of these but will now be looking for a different model. Disappointed.

Dim LIght, No options to brighten
The light from this LED is very dim. It's difficult to see even directly under the light, much less in the corners of the room. To make matters worse, there is no option to brighten the light. There is no User's Manual that provides a part number or potential replacement parts for the light. You're just stuck with a dark room until you replace this ceiling fan.
