We ended up buying 2 of them. Better sound than our home stereo and portable.

Deep bass with clear notes!
Took the JBL Boombox 4 out of the box and quickly connected it to my phone Bluetooth. Hit play to my favorite music playlist and POW!!!! The bass was deep and clear!! The sound was crip. Downloaded the small JBL app and it connected easily and quickly, no issues!.
The JBL Boombox 4 thumps!! Took it outside and the sound was even better!
This is a great product!

Clear and loud
Nice and loud speaker. It has heavy bass up to about 3/4 volume after that you could tell it diverts wattage to just being loud . Very happy with purchase. Being able to link it to other speakers is nice. Long battery life.

Best portable Bluetooth
Before I purchased the Boombox 4 I watched far too many reviews and comparisons on YouTube. The Boombox 4 always came out on top. We already have the Flip 7 and are super happy with that one so we committed to the Boombox 4 and we’re so happy we did. It sounds so much better than the Bluetooth speaker it replaced with two 10” woofers. The sound quality through the whole audio spectrum is fantastic. The bass came be felt while producing no distortion. It felt a little pricey but the build quality and audio performance helped heal the sticker shock.

Boombox 4 experience
I bought the 4 a couple weeks ago. But never used it until yesterday while I was grilling in the back yard. It sounded so good that my wife heard it from the front of the house and thought it was a dj jamming.

BOOOOM!!
Just got my JBL BOOMBOX 4 in the mail and WOW am I impressed! I’m blown away by the sound quality of this bad boy. I love bass and this thing has it. It has an option to choose between punchy or deep bass. I Lovvvvee the deep bass on this speaker. Honestly, I didn’t have high expectations for this speaker, but when I plugged it in and put the music on, oh my gosh, I literally had a mild heart attack! It sounded that good! I’ll definitely be playing this thing alllll the time! If you love a good sounding speaker and bass options, then get this speaker! It is big, way bigger than I thought it’d be which I’m absolutely fine with. Just get it, you won’t be disappointed! You’ll fall in love with it! I did!

JBL Boombox 4
I bought this JBL Boombox 4 about a month ago and absolutely love it. Have owned ALL Boombox’s 1 through 4. Have seen how they all progressed and gotten better with each newer model.

I wanted to leave a review more about the pictures themselves than about the speaker on your site in Boombox 4 in camouflage color. The lower edges of the speaker are painted as green, when in fact they are orange. This is confusing the originality of the product from other people, thank you.

Great Sound
The JBL Boombox 4 delivers exceptional sound quality with impressive volume and clarity, even at high output levels. Bass performance is a standout—engaging Bass Boost adds real punch without muddying the mids or highs. The JBL app is a strong complement, offering useful EQ controls that actually make a noticeable difference and allow you to tailor the sound to different environments.
Build quality justifies the premium price. It feels extremely rugged and well-sealed, suitable for outdoor use, travel, and less-than-ideal conditions. Battery life is excellent, easily lasting through long days of use, and despite its size, it remains reasonably portable for a speaker in this class.
It is expensive, but the combination of powerful sound, deep bass, long battery life, app-based EQ control, and durable construction makes it worth the cost for anyone wanting a high-end portable speaker without compromise.

Great Product! Thank You JBL!
“This JBL speaker delivers outstanding sound quality relative to its compact size. The bass performance is remarkably powerful and becomes even more impressive when adjusted through the EQ settings. Overall, this is a high-quality, well-engineered product that reflects JBL’s commitment to excellence. I look forward to seeing more innovative products of this caliber in the future. Thank you, JBL.”

Best birthday present!
Bought this as a very special gift for my son’s 28th . I wish I could have taken a picture of when he opened it. We live on a farm so we can “light it up” if you know what I mean. It was worth every penny. The sound was so clear and beautiful. Needless to say, he was so happy. This speaker is amazing!
