The Be(a)st!
I've allready purchased a KJ Clasic 2 which turned out a bit to small when grilling a bunch of Veal Ribs which the misses likes so much. This was the perfect excuse to go bigger! When we went to the store KJ Big Joe III didn't looked that Big. But when it arrived home and we filled it up with charcoal it came "alive alive". It's a beast of a grill! What ever you place on it there is plenty of space. No need for stacking or placing the ribs side ways anymore. Multiple dishes vegies, fish, meat all can go together, multiple zones, you name it. Low and Slow or Hot and Fast. The Big Joe III is tha Be(a)st!

Best Kamado cooker
This is a great Kamado cooker! Easy to clean, cooks great, and has a great array of add ones. Much easier to clean than Green Egg! Only knock is the original wheels didn’t last…otherwise top notch!

Love this grill!
I bought my Big Joe III from a guy moving and he could not take it with him.
This thing is a tank!
The grill sips on charcoal so it is economical to run.
The mass of ceramic maintains a very steady heat for hours!
It is so easy to adjust temperatures with the air vents.
I can seer, flame cook, slow cook or smoke on this... so the versatility is everything i need.
Everybody comments on how great the food I cook on this tastes.

Best decision I have ever made !

My favorite go to smoker/grill.
On this grill, I have cooked everything from wings, to 2 Boston butts (at the same time), ribs, burgers, pizzas, and even biscuits. My previous ceramic grill was oval shaped and it wasn't as versatile.

After trying several other grill this is far better they all that I have used. I love it so much that I plan our weekly meal using it. The ease of use makes it possible to fire up and cook even during a hectic day . Clean up is a breeze ! Love it

Best Grill
I had bought a Kamado Joe Jr several years ago and fell in love with it. I wanted to get a Big Joe III but just couldn’t talk myself into spending that much money. Last fall I found the BJ III on sale that I was willing to take the plunge. I absolutely love both of these grills. The Jr is great for quick cooks and the Big Joe is just a workhorse that can do it all.

Very happy with the switch
Bought a year ago for an outdoor kitchen. Had used a BGE for years but a friend told me to look into Kamado Joe. Very happy with the purchase. I like the latch and seal as well as the charcoal basket. The larger size allows me to cook and smoke more food at one time.

Workhorse of a grill
My wife bought it as a surprise birthday gift in 2019 because I had been comparing to the Green Egg. It has since been a focal point of our backyard patio. This Kamado has handled 3 20-pound turkeys, wings on a rotisserie basket, over-the-top chili, fajitas, fish, vegetables and basically anything I’ve been able to throw at it. 7 years later, it’s barely showing any abuse, needing just a gasket replacement. It has brought so much joy and utility and we can’t imagine not having it.

Not me, but my baby brother.
It's not mine, its my brother's Classic Joe. Yeah, he rambles on about how easy it is to use. It's his favorite grill of all time. (he's 71, he's had a few) Personally, Idk.... It's the food he pulls off that baby...juicy, delicious, amazing, totally drool worthy creations. The Classic Joe can turn the worst cooks into Michelin worthy chefs.

Second Big Joe III
My first Big Joe was bought by the buyers of our previous house last summer so I was without a smoker for most of the fall. Bought the BJ III bundle with cover and 2 bags of lump charcoal so I’m back in business!
The large grill surface is being put to good use as I am writing this with a beef brisket flat, a couple of pieces of pork shoulder and several beef short ribs.

This was a gift from my wife and I love it. I'd been eyeing this grill for a few years, however never bought it. I own four other different kinds of grill. So buying this was a hard sell for my wife. I love it.

First of all, the Big Joe is a Beast! Finally pulled the trigger a few months ago. I have a family of 6 and can fit all I need on this beauty. Absolutely love the Big Joe. It does everything well from smoking to searing. Incredibly versatile. High heat, low and slow, pizza, burgers, birds, steak, ribs…. Holds its temp all day. I even used it during an ice storm down here in the Carolinas. Through it all, the Joe didn’t flinch. Grilling is fun, but with this monster I get excited every time I fire it up.

Absolutely love it!
I was deciding between the KJ and the Egg and I went with the KJ and I’m so glad I did. I would rather pay one price and get all the accessories rather than have to pick and choose à la carte. The KJ is just better designed, the easy open lid is fantastic as is the seal which keeps all the heat in. My cousin has the Egg and he dropped the lid as he was closing it and it broke. Steady temps. Sturdy design. Heavy metal stainless steel grates. She’s a beast.

Smoking Joe!
We have owned the Classic Joe 2 for many years now. One of the best “food” investments we have made. We’ve done lots of experimenting and will tell you that the tri tip smoked using a certain TV personalities’s rub is the bomb! We use predominantly wood for the fuel source now. We still have some lump charcoal but wood is our preferred fuel now. We have the Joe Tisourie (sp), the Joe Dough, and the Smoker attachments. Love this thing!

Big Joe is truly the heavyweight champ of BBQ AND smoking meats! The multiple attachments and cooking zone accessories provide great flexibility for cook sessions large or small, either narrow windows of time or all-day cook sessions.
