This 24.8 cu ft. side-by-side refrigerator features the Preserva Food Care System. Its two independent cooling systems help keep food fresh while the FreshFlow Air Filter minimizes odors, and the Produce Preserver delays over-ripening. PrintShield Finish on the stainless steel exterior resists fingerprints and smudges for easy cleaning.

resists smudges and fingerprints. The specialized coating for stainless steel is easy to clean with just water and a soft cloth, so you can spend more time cooking and less time cleaning up.
LED lighting
uses less energy than incandescent bulbs. Multiple lights are purposefully placed throughout the refrigerator and freezer, making it easy to find items at a glance.
Preserva Food Care System
two independent cooling systems provide a dedicated refrigeration unit to help keep food fresh longer, and a separate system for frozen food. The FreshFlow Air Filter minimizes odors while the Produce Preserver helps delay over-ripening.
Clear Door Bins with Metallic Accents
allow you to see labels right through the bins, giving you visibility and easy access to your condiments and other items. Each bin is removable, making them perfect for carrying items to the counter.

Great Fridge, nice looking & works extremely well!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced a similar Kitchenaid with this one. It's an excellent fridge. Keeps food even colder than our older model, better air flow throughout the entire fridge and freezer. The LED lighting is great, the fresh produce drawer keeps things ripe and fresh. The ice cubes are smaller and dispense easily and don't get stuck together like the older model. The unit is quiet and a person really has to put ear to the back to hear it running. The air filter and water filters are great and the produce freshner appears to work well....I just have to buy replacements as required. The max ice feature comes in handy when using a lot of ice, although this unit makes ice faster anyway. This unit has all the features a person could want, the digital display is impressive and we are very happy so far!

Love my new fridge
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the finish. It is very easy to clean.The icemaker works great and functions far superior to our old Samsung, The best function is the "Measured Fill" feature. You press that button, it starts at 8 oz and you can increment the volume as much as you need. My Kuerig reservoir takes about 40 oz and it is very tedious to press and hold the water dispenser lever. It isn't 100% accurate (a 32 oz setting gives you about 26 oz but it is pretty easy to adjust moving forward. The ice bucket can be a bit to seat inside the freezer but whenever this happens, I dump the ice in a large bowl, reinstall the bucket and it seats just fine every time.

Quiet and chill
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this for 3 weeks and it seems to be doing a great job. It maintains the temperatures well in both the freezer and refrigerator. The lighting inside is great making it easy to see the contents of every shelf. The drawers seem a little flimsy but they open and close easily even when loaded down. Vegetable drawer is keeping lettuce and celery crisp through the past weeks. Freezer compartment is roomy due to the icemaker being in the door. The capacity of the icemaker is smaller than our previous appliance. Whether it can keep up with summer demands remains to be seen but it does have a setting to increase the frequency of the ice cycle.
This refrigerator is quiet. It does have various whirring sounds, hums, and buzzes, but you have to be close to hear them. The loudest noise is the icemaker when it delivers a batch of cubes.
The control panel is easy to see and use. The measured water dispensing is a great feature, but beware th automated dispensing as it doesn't care if you have your container in place or not, you can end up with a wet floor. The lit icons throw you off as the touch sensors are quite a bit below them so you have to get used to that.
We are pleased with this refrigerator, so far.

Fits My Needs Just Fine
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm enjoying my new refrigerator. It fits my needs as I don't have a ton of food at any one time except maybe the holidays and it worked out fine. It has 3 vegetable bins, more than what I need, but I pretty sure the top drawer can be removed and that would give me another shelf if I need it. It came with a wine rack which I removed since I don't have a lot of company drinking wine frequently but it is a nice feature. Very brightly lit with led lighting. The front of it is stainless steel unlike my last fridge so I can add my magnets back on. Very happy.

Love my refrigerator

I hope I get the same performance and longevity of the prior one. We love KitchenAid quality and have a dishwasher, standing mixer and food processor made by KitchenAid as well.

Excellent Refrigerator
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced our 19 year old Kitchen-Aide side by side with this newer model of the same thing. The ice maker has been improved, which was the only drawback to the old model. With the side by side, we have a ton of space and don't have to bend over always to get things out of the freezer. The printshield finish is as advertised. Easy to wipe it clean with out using stainless steel cleaner. The sides are grey and we prefer black, but it only came with that option.

I have plenty of room, it lights up @ night from bright to low beam. Inside the lights are fantastic. It has been functioning great with know problem. Ice maker does not over fill or get stuck. If you're looking for a well functioning refrigerator with no hiccups, choose Kitchen Aide, you won't be disappointed. I wished it came in a larger size in a side by side. But I am in know way dissatisfied with the size I purchased. (Awesome).

Doesn’t freeze in the Fridge!
