An Incredible Beast in Stainless Steel clothing!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed a Island mounted range vent and chose this Kitchenaid model for brand name recognition and to match our new Kitchenaid oven. We had no floor model to compare to, so were quite surprised when we opened the box on delivery to find a close to commercial quality vent. Luckily we had two local handyman helpers to install it because it is a Beast in stainless steel clothing!
We are very happy with the finished product, including the powerful Boost exhaust fan for those "Oh No!" moments. This vent is absolutely worth every penny of it's cost and the handyman fee too.

Island hood

36 inch island hood
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Finally received the island hood after a long delay due to availability of components to manufacture the island hood. A beautiful looking appliance with easy to use controls and enough lighting to cover the surface of the Kitchenaid range.
My only disappointment was trying to explain to customer service on the need for parts to install the unit. Here in California, the code standards requires a shorter installation bracket to house the unit. The on-line catalog doesn't have parts for this, nor did the customer service agent have any knowledge to help. In the future, hopefully parts to accommodate different building codes in each state can be available.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are slowly remodeling our house we bought two years ago and we just got this beautiful piece that goes above our large island only a few down sides it did take two days to install instead of two hours and the top of the black stainless steel that goes into the ceiling that’s exposed is a little jagged since it was not precut to fit and will need a custom wood piece put around it to cover it up and a small clip was not put in it on the top to keep it flush so it sticks out on the side but those were all due to the installation not the product

Beautiful and quiet

I have found with regular cooking I put it on medium till the air starts moving then I can turn it down to low. The air keep moving and you can barely hear it. The lights are perfect, every thing about it compliments the kitchen.

AMAZEMENT
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to rebuild my house because of "The Great Flood of 2016" that took place in Louisiana. So I took down my kitchen/living room wall to give it a open concept for better entertaining while cooking. Everyone comments on how professional the kitchen looks. I am well pleased with the performance with this unit and more so of the ease of installation. The instructions were simple and had it installed in about 3 hours, not bad for a couple of rookies.

Beautiful Island Mount Hood

we just installed week a go with Kitchenaid 36 Range top, I have been looking for hoods after installed range top which, month ago. looked at high end brands but finally made with same brand kitchenaid. so far I'm very happy with it,but just a one little thing,wish mash filler was more layers than only two.

great features
Looks nice, simple to operate, quiet when the fan is running, lights up the cook top very well. We don't use the night light feature at this time but I think it would be good also. We like the auto on feature of the fan turn it on auto and it adjust its self to the level it thinks it should run comes on as it needs to and shuts its self off.
