It is a great dryer. We has our other LG dryer for 10 years before we needed a replacement. The new dryer is better than the old one.

Great compact ventless dryer
This is my first ventless dryer and I like it a lot. You have the option of having it collect water in an internal tank or having it pump the water out a drain hose. The tank is easy to remove and empty after each load. After the cycle finishes, it is very humid inside, to the point that the clothes still seem damp, but that quickly subsides as the humidity dissipates once the door is opened, especially if you wait a couple of minutes before removing the clothes.

Great dryer but expensive
Love the dryer but very expensive. Same dryer was $800 10 yrs ago and now it’s $1,400. It’s the only ventless dryer that’s small enough to fit my apartment. But works amazing and I do recommend

Happy kitten
I've been extremely happy with the dryer. Cleaning the lint is easy. It works fast - everything dried well under 2 hours. Power consumption seems very reasonable. I've had zero issues with the product so far. Hope it stays that way.

Updating was successful!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will admit that I was apprehensive to change from a vented dryer to a ventless dryer, but I am so glad I did. It is very easy to maneuver, and I think that with the savings from not having to clean out my vent annually, this dryer will pay for itself is 3 years. It is also quiet, compared to my older model. Very very pleased.

Very dry clothes
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a little nervous to buy this product after reading some bad reviews saying the clothes did not dry. That has certainly not been my experience. If anything, it seems the sensor dry keeps drying after what I feel the clothes are completely dry and I will sometimes stop the dryer and take the clothes out. I have my dryer hooked up so that the water goes down the drain rather than collecting in the reservoir and this is really great. The instructions are very clear on how to install this so that it does go down the drain as there is only one cap that is removed from the bottom of the t-piece on the side of the dryer after disconnecting the tube that goes to the reservoir and placing it on top. I would just say I'm very happy and I can't understand the bad reviews, but maybe LG made some improvements or I just got lucky. Anyway, I really love my dryer. The dryer has the stacking brackets that are used to stack on top of the washing machine. Nothing extra to buy!.

Dry clothing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very nice quiet dryer, best dryer we own since we moved to the USA. The clothing comes out dry, it takes a bit longer than the old age vent dryers. The dryer is energy star rated no increase in the electric bill, quite the opposite.
Important; one has to empty the water catch drawer after each drying cycle.

Made to Last
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Twelve years ago I remodeled my kitchen and purchased all LG appliances. They are all made to last! Last month I decided to update my washer and dryer. I absolutely LOVE my ventless dryer. The clothes dry nearly wrinkle free and towels come out so soft that I don’t need fabric softener anymore. Now my iPhone alerts me when the cycle is complete!

The future of drying
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm kind of a gadget guy and understand the heat pump principle - fundamentally, this is an inside-out refrigerator with a fan. The manual is lacking, in some ways. An example is the moisture sensors...the user is told to keep them clean and how to do this and what to avoid and why, but there is NO indication of where they are or what they look like. I had to do some digging on the internet to learn this. There is no indication whether or not the drum will periodically reverse direction during any drying cycle (like a former dryer of mine did) The nice lady on the chat help line did not know, other than the initial drum reversals during the initial startup. *Someone* should know, but who? Overall, we are satisfied, but still unsure of the power consumption, compared to the older style external vent electric dryer. Clothes are always warm, coming out...sometimes seem humid, depending on the cycle. Don't have a smartphone, so cannot summon some of the features.

Amazing unit
Bought a month ago and it’s running smoothly. Very quiet operation and love the alerts on my phone that the cycle is complete. It also reminds you to clean the lint filter under water every 10 loads.

The unit works just fine, however, we plugged in the external drainage of condensed water, but no water flows thru it. Instead, the water container fills up with water.

The perfect dryer for small space in the building.
This ventless dryer is working great for inside room, special for inside building. Small size, stackable with washing machine, fit perfect in my closet. Work very good and easy to operate.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this over a month ago and have been very satisfied with the performance of the dryer so far. I don't have the long dry times maybe as some other reviewers have stated because the matching front load washer reduces the amount of moisture in clothes before it gets to the dryer as it is. So i suspect that is why dry times become more elevated with top loaders, as it was probably designed for the front loader. The app is great becuase it lets me know how many loads i have done in a month and when i have to run the clean cycle, clean lint filter, etc. Even though this was a little more expensive than standard exhaust to outside dryers, I just got my electric bill and already starting to reap the rewards. Waiting to get my fuel bill to see a drop there since this dryer no longer exhausts all the heated air in the house back outside!

very energy efficient
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few weeks ago and have been very impressed with it. Very quiet and enjoy the status I get from the dryer on my cellphone. The real winner with this dryer is that you save two ways. It recycles the air in the dryer rather than inefficiently blowing heated air outside. Will also save on my fuel oil bill since I am no longer be sucking in cold air to replace the air normally blown outside (only to be reheated by my furnace in the process).

Great heat pump dryer meets/exceeds our needs
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased the LG DLHC1455W heat pump dryer to replace an older full-size gas dryer in our basement. While the LG dryer’s capacity is smaller than the dryer it replaced, we find that the dryer’s capacity more than meets our needs as a retired couple - there are just the two of us. We were approaching this purchase with two items in mind: 1) mature heat pump technology to avoid burning fossil fuel and/or electric resistive heating; and 2) reduce makeup air requirements in our home. Operationally, using any heat pump dryer requires a bit of adjustment - chiefly in the length of time it takes to complete a dryer load. This is NOT excessive at all. Routine maintenance chores - emptying the condensation container, cleaning the lint filters - require no special skills or unusual amounts of time. In fact, we had planned to purchase and plumb a condensate pump for this dryer to automatically pump the condensate to the washer drain, but quickly found that emptying the built-in condensation container to the adjacent sink was no chore at all. The instructions provided with the dryer are more than adequate for the novice user and do contain instructions for installing the included condensate drain hose as well as for changing the orientation of the door - which we did perform in under 10 minutes. In summary, in the 12 days since its arrival, the dryer has perfectly and gently handled the 18 loads we’ve presented to it with absolutely no problems or special actions on our part. We can both gladly recommend this dryer.

Great escape from vented and overly large dryers
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had no interest in getting a vent installed, and half the world bans the use of vented dryers everyone uses here in the US because they aren't good for the environment.
This Dyer was a pleasant surprise. We are very happy with its results. It's just me and my wife so the load size works for us. The negative reviews around things coming out wet or damp I believe are missing that they are supposed to. This is how these kinds of Dryers work with some variation between models for sure but your clothes essentially come out almost like they've been steamed, they feel slightly damp to the touch when taken out and are ready to fold immediately, any dampness is gone by the time you finish folding.
for Large bulky items or loads you overfill It may take an extra zap but Everday loads are done the first time around as described above for me.

Silent!!! Yes it takes longer than regular dryer but we connected the drain hose to the same drain as our washer so it became more like a regular dryer. We love it
