Great closet set!!!
I love this tower! Moved laundry to the first floor from the basement in a 100yo home. They nicely fit into a closet and are quiet and very efficient. Only 2 tbs of detergent needed, if you use too much you’ll get a notification for the app. Oh that’s great too, the app also alerts you when the washer and dryer are done or if there are any problems.
Make sure they are properly installed, the dryer needs to have drainage. The guy who installed mine hadn’t installed an electric heat pump dryer yet and didn’t realize which led to a build up of water in the washer pan and the clothes would be damp. Once corrected, the thing is a dream!
We’ve had it now a year.

Space saver!

I really love the quick wash and direct to my phone notifications. Although the ventless dryer may seem to take longer than the other option this has been a huge upgrade to my household.

Love that it’s one piece!

It looks sleek and has all the settings one could imagine plus ten more. It is a true upgrade in my life. I think LG made a great product for tight spaces.

Works well and quiet

It's been easy to use, load and even comes with an app. I dabbled with downloading a wash cycle and I really like using that! The delay start is a life saver! The utensil rack is so unique and awesome! I put all kinds of things on there and don't have to worry about them getting lost and flung around. The two bottom racks are spacious and fit a large variety and quantity of dishes. Overall, I would recommend and have not had any problems!

This washer and dryer combo, stacked to save space, truly delivers exceptional cleaning power. I was initially drawn to its compact design, perfect for my smaller laundry room, but its performance has far exceeded my expectations.
This WashTower is smart and incredibly easy to use. You can select the best cycle for your load through an app or the user-friendly control center. A standout feature is the ventless heat pump dryer, which automatically chooses the appropriate setting once your laundry is washed. The ventless heater is absolutley fantastic and clothing comes out smelling so fresh and clean. The dryer takes a little more time to dry clothing and especially bedding but it uses 60% less eletric doing this thanks to the ventless system
The washing machine is flawless and roomy.
It's a high end machine and I loved how beautiful it looks. A total upgrade that saves you money in the long run.
LG has made an absolute home run. This one is also largest for small spaces and apartments while not sacrificing space inside of the machines

A great washer/dryer tower!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I had been looking to replace our washer and dryer for quite some time and learned about the LG Single Unit WashTower. The features that we learned from the manufacturer's website excited us a lot but when we received the product, it really blew our minds! To highlight some of the key features that we love...
1. The dryer does not have a vent. It's a ventless system so no need for the foil exhaust pipe that takes up a lot of space. Space-saving feature was a must-have for us as our laundry is not that big
2. WiFi connectivity is so nice. The mobile app is very easy to use and the app has many more features than the ones built into the unit itself
3. Really quiet. The machine works so quietly. The dryer has a mode where you can turn it on at night and it runs very quietly
4. Overall, really great product and made really well. I can tell that it was made using great materials and good workmanship
If anyone is in the market to replace their units, I highly highly recommend LG Single Unit WashTower as their replacement!

Bold Beautiful LG
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasnt sure how i would feel about a Washtower. It seemed like a massive appliance, similar to a fridge. However, I decided to take the plunge because I realized a Washtower, while big, saved me a ton of space compared to two separate units sitting side by side. So i went for it and I must say the LG Washer WKHC252HBA is a beauty. With a massive washing machine on the bottom end and a massive dryer at rhe top.
Oh and did I mention it's ventless? This was another new bit of technology I knew nothing about, but was excited to see what the hype was over.
Being ventless means the unit won't blow hot moist air into the home, and this is amazing for people who do laundry in their basements. No need to plug in a dehumidifier to keep the room clear of molds.
Ventless also saves on electricity. Win win if you ask me.
Both units are front loading with a lot of space so it's less loads needed.
A normal full load ran for 42 minutes washing. The drier however ran a little longer. Even on the speed setting it was 1 hour and 40 minutes.
I believe this to be standard so I have no issues there. However my clothing was fully dry with 30.minutes left on the timer. So this is indeed something LG needs to look into.
Beyond this I love that the dryer has 2 lint traps. This is to keep any loose hairs or debris free from your clothes.
One wash in and immediatley I could tell I made an amazing choice and man what a stunning upgrade to my laundering needs!
I feel like I have a laundry station now with new space for a launder table to place my detergents.
Installation was a breeze and I did it myself. It has 2 hoses. One for the washer and one for the dryer. It merges into one hose making everything simple and easy to install.
Both the washer and dryer have built in led lights that leave the machine looking classy and high end.
This is what I love about the washtower in general. It looks high end, it works high end and it is high end. The quality is solid and one look atbthis dream tower and it's easy to tell why LG appliances are in a league all their own.

Quiet and powerful
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great appliance! I love how big the washer and dryer are. I am able to do less loads that are bigger than my previous machines. I previously had 10 year old LG front load washer and dryer and the wash tower is a huge upgrade in technology. I downloaded the LG app and it has a lot of great features like alerts when my laundry is done, reminder to clean the machines and energy usage. The wash tower gets my clothes really clean/fresh and I love how much of a space saver it is, it fits in my laundry closet perfectly.

Best Purchase
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this combo set on Labor Day and it took almost a month from the date of purchase before we received it.
For many reasons I will not go into this part of the experience of purchasing this unit was not good.
But now I can honestly say it is the best washer and dryer we have ever owned hands down. The unit is quiet and efficient. There almost no noise with the washer or dryer. It wash s clothes clean, leaving no residue or soap on the clothes. The dryer is so well designed as it does not have a vent but it drys the clothes quickly.
We are so pleased with this unit and the fact it gives us more space makes this purchase even better.

Perfect for apartment use
Pretty perfect and energy efficient too! Works like a charm. Washer is large and a huge improvement from our prior small capacity system (Bosch) washer and dryer. The dryer is also large capacity and to our delight works efficiently and quickly. Energy efficient but works well and no vents.

FIRST TIME LG CUSTOMER - WashTower Ventless Drter

Specifications do not state if doors are reversible when we purchased online. Like the Energy Efficiency Ventless Dryer that uses 65% less electricity than the traditional vent-type dryers.

A towering upgrade to our laundry
Bought this tower from LG and got quicker delivery than the big boxes could offer. It's tall and heavy, but has half the footprint our previous setup. Best of all, its ventless! DIY install was easy, requiring separate purchase of 30 amp power cord and two water supply lines from any hardware store. Very happy with the performance. The heat-pump dryer works and matches the selected level, from less dry to dry as a bone, without heating up the room. Both washer and dryer are unbelievably quiet. The mid-height control panel makes them both easy to use. I think we're really happy with this choice.

Quiet, efficient and smart!
This unit is quiet, cleans spectacularly well and notifies me when the wash or dry cycles are finished. My whites have never been whiter! I also love how energy efficient the heat pump dryer is. Yes, it takes longer to dry clothes but at a lower cost to us and to the environment. Win/win!

Best tower I've ever owned

Honestly, we weren't sure what to expect with this being out first ventless setup. It has completely exceed out expectations and outperformed all of the other high end vented units we have owned in the past. (A delivery / install tip - the top and bottom unit can be detached and reattached easily.)

Wonderful and works great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had ordered the previous model which was slightly smaller in depth. It was either discontinued, or not enough availability. At first I wasn't happy because this model was a little deeper, however this comes with a next generation designed condenser which has self cleaning capability that the previous model didn't have. Previously I used another brand front loaded that required a vent. This model does not seem to take any longer to dry, and the washer is much faster AND visibly cleaner. I have used light loads and very full loads and it always dried perfectly fine on the regular settings. I have never changed the drying time manually. When you take your clothes out, they aren't going to be searingly hot like regular electric dryers. You do feel a tiny bit of humidity, however, your clothes ARE dry. Don't believe the reviews that say items are wet. The most awesome feature is that it is ventless. My room doesn't get hot from a hot exhaust pipe. I don't need a hole in the wall.

Wonderful machine. Lives up to all it functions..
Installed this wash tower on January 11th 2024. We have used it quite a few times and are very pleased with the ease of operation. Everything is very self explanatory. The clothes are very clean for being eased for a short time shorter than a regular washer.
The dryer drys exceptionally well and the clothes are not over dried with a lot of heat . It is wonderful not to have a dryer duct no more lint flying around.

Great New Features and a Quality Solution From LG
The LG Washtower is a very nice product. It supplies all of the typically needed features one expects from a traditional washer/dryer combo. The unit has an advanced computer system that offers discrete controls for ease of operations. One very special feature is the removal of any conventional external dryer lint tube/hose that vents the collected lint in a filter and hose. The Washtower uses a unique capability to send the lint through a hose into the same drain as the washer uses. All in all we are quite pleased with this new state of the art stacked washer/dryer called the LG Washtower.

Amazing design
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ill start off by saying the design and appearance is very appealing. The way the washer and dryer are engineered together makes for easy installation rather than trying to stack one on top of the other. One small downfall to the units being one is it's extremely heavy when moving around with a dolly. The dryer height is perfect for being able to see and remove clothing for smaller people like myself. The heat pump does take about double the time of a conventional dryer to dry clothes. The washer does a great job removing dirt and stains from clothes but I'd recommend keeping a eye on the door seal it will leak occasionally and needs to be left opened after doing a cycle to allow the seal to dry and not create mold. The washtower started out as a very quite machine while operating but has seem to get louder with more use. There is a lack of functions on the system control panel compared to other brands. Overall is a great design, sleek and space saver in the laundry room just some components on this unit seem to be lower quality standard which may cause issues down the road with water leaks.

Overall Great for my Space
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had no issues with this washer/dryer combo so far. I am happy with my overall purchase. This Unit is great if you are trying to save space in your laundry room. My comforters fit in with no problems. I love the app, it does help remind me to finish my laundry. Which I really need sometimes! Before this Unit I might have only got 1 or 2 loads of laundry done in a day. That tells you how bad I am at remembering the laundry. Lol The only thing with the app is that it doesn’t start your laundry, but it will let you set up the settings for the washer or dryer cycle. I feel like the heat pump is one of the best parts of it. Basically, it means that it doesn’t need to vent outside! But we already had one installed for our old dryer, so we did have to cover it up. One thing my significant other and I noticed is that when you immediately take the clothes out of the Dryer, they seem to feel wet, but they aren’t. I think this is because of the heat pump but I am not positive. The detergent tray is a little hard to figure out, a little bit of a learning curve. It doesn’t seem like the line measurements line up with the ones on the detergent cap. The washer height is a little lower than anticipated, you must bend over a lot to get all the laundry out. But the Dryer is at the perfect height for someone at my height of 5’4”. I believe to have the Dryer at a height for someone like me you would have to deal with the washer being lower and bending over. I, however, am also not used to front load washers, so I think that is why it seems to be an issue for me. Also being pregnant, I think things just get harder every day. lol

Time will tell...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The main question everyone asks when it comes to "new tech" if if they should upgrade right?
The heat pump tech and LGs history of being one of the most reliable brands are some of the main reasons we decided to upgrade. I don't like the idea of all in one units because I don't think parts in a washing machine should be exposed to heat. This unit separates the washing from the heat so I think it's a better conceptual design.
The time that we have had the machine, it has performed well compared to our old front end loader. However, we did discover that we had to put the spin on high for it to get the same amount of water as our older machine. I wish I could set high speed to default.
Drying and washing bedding take a minimum of 4 hours; one hour to wash at 3 hours to dry. This isn't an issue until you have your children having stomach issues all night and you need to get bedding turned around quickly.
The front interface has much fewer options than LGs similar models. I think they want to rely on the app to send more specialized modes to the washer or dryer. Allergenie and Sanitize cycles are still not available on these units even through the app even though they are advertised in the specs. You can add "Steam" to any wash cycle to get the high heat required, which may end up being a better option. However, we liked using the sanitize option on towels so that took a bit to figure out. I have requested these features through the app and have yet to have them added.
I like that the washer has a light when i open the door. The old washer didn't have that.
With regards to the heat pump, time will tell how reliable it ends up being. I like that it has options built in to wash the condenser and it monitors the health of it.
I love the energy monitoring built into the app that tells you how much each cycle takes. It also tracks how many washes until you need to do various self-cleans on it.
I wish LG would recommend a brand of dishwasher cleaner other than bleach.
Lastly, we have noticed that the washing machine is making a much louder hum/whine than when we first received it. I will update the review if/when it gets resolved.

Worth an upgrade? I think so
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our family upgraded from a front load washer and conventional dryer from a competitor. The wash tower was ideally going to give us space back in our laundry room with a permanent stacked solution to store more daily items like towels, cleaning solution, etc.
The washer is noticeably bigger at 5.0cuft vs 4.2 from our old washer. The “turbo wash” feature sprays water at the clothes vs only having them fall into water. This cuts down the time it takes to wash clothes. This allows for better cleaning according to lg and consumer reports. Turbo wash has been around for years with LG. LG has been consistently rated at the top of consumer reports for both washing and reliability.
The dryer does a great job, it simply takes a bit longer to do the same drying load. Regular loads take about 90mins. Bedding loads take over 3 hours for only drying, but they do come out very dry and not in a ball like I have experienced with conventional driers. It’s also supposed to be cheaper to dry because the heat is getting recovered.
I do recommend this combo unit so far, but there are areas of improvement that could push it to 5 stars. If this unit lasts over 10 years with a few software improvements, no reason I wouldn’t easily push it to 5 stars.
Here are some items to consider:
With a stacked washer, you can no longer put your liquid soap on top of the washer and easily dispense it. You will have to use the cup or lift the entire bottle.
With the heat pump dryer, it will take a little longer to dry and cleaning the filter each cycle is a must to keep the condenser in tip top shape. You will also have to rinse the filters in the sink every 10 loads. It’s more “maintenance” items, but the energy savings could be worth it. The filter is a very fine screen that has two parts to it that we use a hand vacuum on between loads.
The control panel options are fewer than I would prefer. I have to use my phone to do an air fluff (no heat cycle for air dried items), sanitary, or allergenie cycle. As of right now, the allergenie and sanitary cycles are not available for download, but I am hoping LG changes this soon. I also desire to put the spin on max speed as default and that’s not an option. Rinse and spin is also not a readily available option.
While heat pumps have been around for decades, they are relatively new for dryers. Time will tell how reliable they will be.

Very frustrating dryer
The washer works well and saves quite a bit of water and detergent. The choice of cycles is impressive, although the LG app is clumsy and unintuitive.
The dryer is another matter. It automatically decides how long to dry, which is typically about 2 hours. It spins too fast, rolling sheets into a big enchilada in about 5 minutes and then can't dry more than the outside of the rolled up sheets. We have to run down to it every 10 minutes to unroll the sheets log. The controls are impossible. I'm a software engineer and I can't figure out how to set a timed dry. There's a "more time" and a "less time" button, but it never accepts a press on them. You just have to accept that it will decide to run for 2 hours and set a kitchen timer to tell you when to go check if the load is dry. I'd like to rip out the controls and put in a mechanical count-down timer!

Excellent Washtower!
