Intuitive to Use

FIRST TIME LG CUSTOMER - WashTower Ventless Drter
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First LG washer/Dryer and first LG Tower. LOVE the center controls! So far, this unit is holding up to its advertised claims and features! Specifications do not state if doors are reversible when we purchased online. Like the Energy Efficiency Ventless Dryer that uses 65% less electricity than the traditional vent-type dryers.

A towering upgrade to our laundry
Bought this tower from LG and got quicker delivery than the big boxes could offer. It's tall and heavy, but has half the footprint our previous setup. Best of all, its ventless! DIY install was easy, requiring separate purchase of 30 amp power cord and two water supply lines from any hardware store. Very happy with the performance. The heat-pump dryer works and matches the selected level, from less dry to dry as a bone, without heating up the room. Both washer and dryer are unbelievably quiet. The mid-height control panel makes them both easy to use. I think we're really happy with this choice.

Quiet, efficient and smart!
This unit is quiet, cleans spectacularly well and notifies me when the wash or dry cycles are finished. My whites have never been whiter! I also love how energy efficient the heat pump dryer is. Yes, it takes longer to dry clothes but at a lower cost to us and to the environment. Win/win!

Excellent Washtower!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Washtower definitely works as designed. Ventless feature is a huge benefit since I moved it into the bathroom near the bedrooms. It just took 9 weeks to get it delivered to my house from LG.

Dryer has had me in tears (of frustration)
The washer is great but the dryer almost brings me to tears every time I use it. Tears of utter frustration!!! I do NOT like to torch my clothes in the dryer. I prefer a really low heat. There is absolutely NO low heat setting?! I read the manual front to back, did a deep dive into the specialized cycles, NO ability to control the temperature of the air? I put it on the “air dry” cycle and even that was heated? Crazy thing is that a couple of times I was running it on normal cycle and when I opened up the dryer the clothes were still cold so apparently there was no heat? I am unable to find any ability to control the temperature anywhere though?! Also, the clothes will be totally dry and there will still be an hour of drying time remaining! Essentially, I have to continually check my clothes throughout the entire dry cycle and pull them out one by one so that they don’t get over cooked. SO time consuming! It works fine for towels, that you want to torch, but for any of my other clothing items it is totally worthless. Absolutely the worst! I’ve given it about two months now but I think I’ve finally decided to sell them. I’m going to take the financial loss and have to buy myself another set. It’s just not worth the frustration and time suck anymore….

Great washer -- terrible dryer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife loves the washer. It does everything that LG promises in its ads. BUT the dryer is an utter failure in design and function. If you are drying regular clothes, it does an adequate job. If you are doing sheets of any kind or size, it fails utterly to dry these items. What it does do is roll the sheets up into a tight cigar that refuses to dry. 5 hours later the sheets are not dry and one has to repeatedly open the door and remove the sheets and struggle to unwrap them, then put them back into the dryer.Additionally, there is NO cool down cycle. It runs hot and that's it. If you let clothes sit in the dryer for ANY length of time, they wrinkle terribly. As I siad in the title for this review, great washer, in fact the best we have used, but the worst dryer one can imagine.
