High technology clean
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having owned this machine for two weeks now, I can attest to the fact that this washer is the best on the market. I wash most loads in cold water and they come out perfectly clean and fresh. I watched numerous YouTube tutorials on how to make the most of the washers many benefits. There is a science to loading your clothes in the drum so that the top clothes will make their way to the bottom and get properly agitated and wet. You can add more water if desired and there are so many options for delicate items or comforters. I pre mix my bleach in a quart container and add it directly into the drum. I’d rather do that than risk ruining the finish by using the bleach dispenser. Just hit the pause button and lift the lid at the appropriate time. I love the chime sound at the end of the cycle that lets you know your cycle is complete. I love the extra large capacity of this machine. I love that it can automatically sense how much clothes have been added and adjusts the water and the time for you. I look forward to many happy years of cleaning clothes with this beautiful machine.

Dryer works great. I love the door that opens two different ways, which makes loading and unloading clothes much easier. There are lots of options for cycles so I'm still figuring it out. I wasn't sure if the wifi feature would be useful but it's nice to get notifications on my phone for cycle ending, reminders to clean the lint tray, etc.

One feature you're going to love - the hamper door
I bought this dryer to match the washer of the same model when I had to replace my old washer. It's a great dryer, has lots of extra features but there's one thing on it that you might think you don't care about but once you use it, you'll wonder why no one else has thought of this. The hamper door. The door latch works in the usual side opening manner but it also opens like a hamper, which makes dropping the clothes from the washer into the dryer so much easier. I love it!
I chose LG based on company reputation for quality and reliability.
Dries quickly, using the Wrinkle Care button keeps the clothes from getting wrinkled if you cant get to the dryer right away to unload it. The drum light is really bright - lights up the entire laundry room! It only stays on for a minute or so when you're unloading, but if you still need it, there's a button to turn it back on manually.
This model has smart features which enable the user to link the dryer to a smart phone app to manage the dryer. I didn't choose to do this. Note - if you're going to want to use the smart features, capture the QR code before your dryer is installed if it's going into a tight space. The QR code is on the back of the machine.

I love this dryer it is so easy to use and I like that it’s sync to your phone, so when I’m upstairs and don’t hear the chime it lets me know on my phone the the dryer is done. LG keep making good products, they are great!!!
