Based on this Samsung dryer’s performance, its’ quality and price along with the consistently exceptional service provided by PC Richards including our sales executive Frank, PC Richard’s Customer Service Dept and the service department who delivered , installed , and removed my old appliance , I am rating my overall experience and the quality, reliability, and performance of my new Samsung Dryer as above excellent. This Samsung dryer is cost effective, well made , easy to use, has the all of the features I need and want, and is very quiet. I am enjoying the large 7.4 cu ft capacity which gives me the ability to dry very large loads if needed. Many of the dryers we looked at had very interesting and quite fancy features that seemed very interesting and initially,very appealing. However , in the end, I knew these features would rarely, if ever be utilized, the novelty would wane quickly, and ultimately I would be wasting money on a fancy, digital alluring appliance I am extremely pleased with my new Samsung Dryer and am so happy to have a working dryer again from a trusted reliable manufacturer whose products have always outperformed my expectations.

The lint trap is conveniently located and easy to clear. One of the best feature are all the wonderful drying options. And if you are someone concerned about the sound of your appliances, this one is quite quiet and the notifications are easy on the ears.

Rated 4 out of 5 by JessM4 from Large capacity! Loving the capacity of this dryer compared to my former unit, which lasted me 18 years! Seems more gentle and is very quiet. Occasionally have to restart it when clothes aren’t fully dry, but I do most loads on low so that may be the reason.

Two challenges: unable to turn off energy efficiency option which delays drying time and dampness signal is difficult to turn on and off when running items that you want to hang for final drying.

I purchased one of these two years ago and now have been getting an error code for the past 6 months. Because it is out of warranty, there is virtually no support available from LG. All they do is give you a list of "certified LG technicians" None of them have been able to fix my dryer. I am disappointed I wasted my money on this company that used to be reliable and truthful to their customers. I also have a refrigerator that keeps having issues from the first year it was purchased. Please be smart and stay away from LG products.
