Smart Drying, Fresh Results, and Lower Bills

With our previous dryer, large towels or clothes sometimes had an unpleasant smell because they weren’t fully dried. Now, with this model, we no longer have to worry about that — everything comes out completely dry and fresh.
Additionally, the dryer operates with very low noise and excellent energy efficiency, resulting in noticeably lower gas and electricity bills compared to other models.

Efficient and Modern

We are able to quickly dry a large load. The steam feature is great at removing wrinkles. The AI feature adjusts the settings for the perfect dry time. This is helpful and energy efficient. Overall all the performance quality is high, the noise levels are low, and its design is sleek and modern.

One of the best dryers I’ve ever used. Didn’t make my clothes feel funny, nor get those little balls of lint all over my clothes like my old dryer did. Truly spacious and even has a convenient little drawer on the bottom to store your dryer sheets and other washing supplies

First off the design and esthetics of this dryer is sleek and modern design. In terms of functions, it’s hands down the fastest and most efficient dryer I’ve used and/or owned. It’s quiet, reliable, and built super sturdy, plus easy-access lint filters (which also catches everything..including all my dog’s hair, leaving our clothes and blankets lint/dog hair free!). We would recommend to our friends and family that are in the market for a new dryer! 10/10!

As a family of five, we do a ton of laundry, and our old dryer just couldn't keep up. The massive 7.4 cu. ft. capacity is a game-changer. I can easily fit large loads of towels or even our king-size comforter, which has seriously cut down our laundry time. I also love the AI Sensor Dry feature, which automatically detects the moisture and weight of the load to prevent over-drying and save energy. It's reliable, efficient, and gets everything perfectly dry the first time. The sleek graphite steel finish looks amazing in my laundry room, too.

I’ve been using the LG DLEX5801V dryer for almost two weeks, and it has truly impressed me with its performance and convenience. The design is sleek and modern, and the touch control panel is intuitive, easy to use, and responsive. It feels like a premium appliance in my laundry room.
The sensor drying technology is excellent! It automatically adjusts drying time and temperature based on the moisture level in each load. This ensures clothes come out perfectly dry without over-drying or wasting energy. The large drum easily handles bulky items like comforters, towels, and blankets in a single cycle.
One of my favorite features is the built-in steam drying function, which doesn’t require manually adding water. The dryer connects to a water supply through a hose, generating steam automatically during the cycle. This feature helps reduce wrinkles, refresh clothes, and even gently sanitize fabrics, which is a huge time-saver.
I also love the smart features. The dryer connects to my phone via the LG ThinQ app, allowing me to check cycle progress or receive notifications when a load is finished. This is incredibly convenient, especially when I’m multitasking around the house.
The DLEX5801V runs quietly with minimal vibration, even during high-speed cycles. Overall, it delivers fast, efficient, and gentle drying, enhanced by steam and smart convenience. It’s ideal for families or anyone with a busy lifestyle, and truly worth every penny.

I am very happy with the dryer. Just like it's counterpart washer, it is so fast and quiet. I really don't know how they do it. I think I can watch a movie next to the thing. The clothes also come out dry in not much time at all. I think the temperature control is more accurate, so important when you don't want to shrink some delicate garments. I couldn't be happier with the dryer!

Love this dryer

Love the large capacity, handles sheets, comforter and towels with ease. I love that it can sanitize the clothes in the dryer so I know my family is wearing the cleanest clothes. I also like the steaming option which helps to reduce wrinkles and eliminates odors. The smart functionality is great! Dryer sends notifications to me phone letting me know when clothes are dry and also sends reminders to clean lint trap. Download the LG ThinQ app and you can find all kinds of useful information about the dryer including energy consumption. I also received a matching washer and both appliances are sleek and beautiful in the space. Love how quiet this machine is. I am very happy with my washer and dryer set and would recommend this product to anyone looking for a quality machine.

I Love love LOVE my new dryer. I love all the new features on this dryer. I love that I can also sanitize my clothes in the dryer to assure that my family is wearing cleanest clothing. It drys the largest loads at the same time as any small load. It’s sleek and beautiful in any space. I love how it’s so quiet. I’m extremely happy with my washer and dryer set. Love My Dryer
I received the washer and dryer a few days ago and I must say I love this set. The dry is so quiet, and just so pretty to look at. The different settings are my favorite. I’m able to even sanitize the dirties clothes in the dryer as well. The capacity is really large so I’m able to dry a big load in the same amount of time as a smaller load. I’ve owned lg washer and dryers in the past and I’m never disappointed. Lg has a forever client with me and my family. I’m always so happy with the efficiency and the durability and life span all the washer and dryer have that I’ve purchased over the years. I own a spa and have multiple system from lg and they are still running like new. I’m really excited to add these two devices to my laundry room. Definitely recommend this dryer. Works AMAZING

I've had this dryer for about a week and I am very happy with it so far (along with the matching washer).
Positives:
1) Extremely Intuitive and Easy to Use - the control panel is very user friendly and it's easy to switch between different modes, temperatures, etc. I haven't needed to refer to the manual as it's very self-explanatory.
2) It's extremely quiet and dries well. I previously had a fairly old dryer and this is almost silent by comparison. I barely notice it running. I've also dried some larger loads (e.g., towels, blankets) and everything comes out really dry.
3) The cycle times are fairly quick, completing in around an hour.
4) The wifi feature is a huge plus for me, getting notifications when my drying cycle is complete.
5) Love the overall look of the dryer. It's very sleek and modern.
Negatives:
1) The overall size of the dryer is pretty large so just make sure you have enough room. It fits in my current space although the door sticks out about 1 inch past the front of the dryer.
2) I wish you were able to change the direction that the door opens.
Overall I am very satisfied with the quality, performance and overall look of this product. The delivery and installation experience was very positive as well. The delivery company was on time and installed everything quickly and were very professional. I would definitely recommend this product.

Amazing capacity with great features!

The 7.4 cu. ft. drum means I can fit more laundry in each load, so I’m not running it constantly! The AI Sensor Dry feature is pretty cool. it figures out when clothes are just dry without over drying. The controls are also pretty simple, it’s a dial with an LCD display. The ThinQ app features are handy too for alerts and monitoring. Also appreciate the lint filter & duct clog indicators because it reminds me to clean it out. Overall, it’s clean, smart, and makes doing laundry noticeably easier. 5 stars from me!

I found The DLGX5801V Smart Gas Dryer with Steam and Sensor Dry has a sleek and modern design, and an easy user interface. The control on the DLGX5801V is done via the dial at the machine’s front and rotating it allows to scroll through its dry cycles and see a clear description of each in the display screen.
The steam function is a great at removing wrinkles and found my clothes ready to wear without the need for ironing. The Sensor Dry technology adjusts drying time based on the moisture level in the clothes. This not only ensures perfectly dry clothes but also prevents over-drying, which can wear out fabrics. The drum is spacious enough for large loads, including bedding and towels and multiple pairs of jeans.
The DLGX5801V can connect to the LG ThinQ app. The app also allows to control the machine remotely and receive notifications when a dryer load has ended.
This dryer has exceeded my expectations. It’s efficient, quiet, and packed with useful features and dried my clothes mush faster than my old dryer.
Overall I am very satisfied with this machine and look forward to many years of use for my family. I highly recommend it.

This front load dryer DLGX5801V is just amazing. Very quiet, performs well, I can select using the well designed dial AI setting that will take care of the selection of the proper cycle and indeed the clothes are dry quickly. I got a combo with front load washer, so the unit sits on top of washer. Making it one good looking piece. This dryer can be connected to Wi-Fi and controlled by the phone, amazing. Performance is top notch, just don't forget to clean air filter, which does excellent job by the way. It is large capacity unit which is important if you want clothes dry quickly. I know LG products are energy efficient, so this one should be no exception.

I recently got this LG washer and dryer matching set, and I’m seriously impressed. The capacity is huge — I can easily wash a king-size thick blanket with room to spare. We have two toddlers at home so we need to change bed sheet often, this is so helpful since now we can wash all the beddings at once!!
The machines are also super quiet, even during high spin cycles. I was honestly surprised the first time I ran it — I had to check if it was even on. It also has all these new smart features, like wrinkle-free drying etc. Excited to explore the rest of the features.
Overall, I’m really happy with this set — powerful, efficient, and beautiful. Definitely worth it if you want something that makes laundry a little more fun.
