Excellent TV with great blacks and superb design
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of those TVs that immediately feels premium without trying too hard. The design is sleek and minima. The screen is full of rich color, movies and games have that extra bit of pop. And of course, it delivers those classic OLED deep blacks which are clean and free of any black-spot weirdness. C5 is a fantastic choice if you want a TV that looks great, performs even better, and feels like an upgrade the moment you turn it on.

Large and Beautiful TV - LG C5 83"

But once it was delivered and I started it up, I was very pleasantly surprised at the massive difference it made. I'm loving the huge screen and the great picture quality. I'm also very happy with the updated software and remote!

Great picture and smooth performance

Stunning Picture on 77" LG OLED C5
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The blacks on this LG 77" C5 OLED are so deep that the picture has incredible contrast and makes everything look richer and more realistic. HDR is fantastic...bright highlights really pop without overwhelming the rest of the image, and scenes like a torch being carried on a dark night look almost lifelike, with the flame glowing against truly inky darkness. The brightness is perfect for my room and the 77" size is big, immersive, cinematic, and I’m absolutely loving this TV.

If you're looking for the best picture, this is it

This is my third LG OLED over the years; every time I shop for a new TV, I find myself coming back to this brand. I don't like the new remote control. This C5 model webOS interface has a noticeable response delay.

Excellent high end tv that ticks all the boxes
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG OLED C5 83-inch is an excellent high-end TV, especially strong for movies and gaming, and it hits all the points that makes this tv the best choice: connectivity, display, processor, refresh rate, and resolution.
Display is amazing even in our bright living room. It infact exceeded my expectations. We already have a C4 65’ tv that we bought 5 years ago which has become a part of our family and this just another terrific addition to our new home high roof living room wall.
The LG C5 83-inch is a 4K UHD TV, so resolution is , with full support for 4K streaming, 4K Blu‑ray, and 4K gaming.
Sound in this TV is impressive than the older version.
Looking forward to the Christmas break to enjoy the Christmas movies on this. 😀
Overall we are super happy with the purchase and we got it for a great price for this thanks giving too.

It offers incredible brightness and contrast for both dark and sunlit rooms, plus the size delivers a true cinematic feel.
Picture and sound
• The OLED evo panel with the α9 AI Processor 4K Gen8 produces deep blacks, rich colors, and noticeably higher brightness than older non evo sets, so HDR movies and sports really pop on the 77" screen. Upscaling from HD and streaming sources is excellent, with clean detail and smooth motion for fast action.
• Dolby Vision and HDR10 support ensure movies look as intended, and paired with Dolby Atmos and Wow Orchestra, the TV can create immersive, room filling sound even before adding an external soundbar.
Gaming performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased the LG OLED C5 in the 83” size, and it has exceeded every expectation. The picture quality is absolutely incredible—rich colors, perfect blacks, and stunning HDR performance. Even in my family room, which has multiple windows and a lot of natural light throughout the day, the C5 stays impressively bright without losing contrast or looking washed out. It handles bright-room viewing better than any OLED I’ve owned.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Jumping from an old LED to this massive 77-inch LG C5 OLED has completely spoiled me—and I mean that in the best way. If you’re questioning the OLED premium, stop. It’s absolutely worth the investment.
The picture quality is flawless. The self-lit pixels deliver perfect black levels (no light bleed, ever), creating stunning, infinite contrast that makes 4K HDR content truly cinematic. Colors are vibrant, rich, and the detail is phenomenal. While it’s not the brightest TV for a sun-drenched room, it delivers incredible HDR highlights and is more than adequate for most viewing environments.
For serious gamers, this TV is unbeatable. It’s fully equipped for PS5 and Xbox Series X with 4K@120Hz, VRR, and a near-instant response time, making competitive gameplay incredibly smooth.
The design is sleek with virtually no bezel, despite the huge 77-inch screen. The webOS smart platform is fast, but a quick note: the built-in audio is just passable. You will absolutely want a dedicated sound system to match this incredible display.
The LG OLED77C5PUA is a significant investment, but it is the ultimate, reference-level display for home theater and gaming. Highly recommended.
