Big Sound in a Compact Design!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The M7 produces full, powerful sound for its size, with a wide presentation and useful Atmos height effects from the up-firing driver. Its biggest advantage is flexibility: it can be used alone, as a stereo pair, or as part of an H7 surround system. Independent testing found it particularly effective for adding depth and volume to TV sound and capable as a standalone music speaker.

Perfect addition to your Speaker Collection!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very impressed by the sound quality and how well these speakers all work together. Definitely worth the investment! The AI portion really made a huge difference too, you could feel the depth of sound really increase and become a far more immersive experience! I also love how these M Series can work separate and simply play your favorite songs!

First impression on M7
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first impression of the M7 was how much larger everything sounded. Instead of audio coming mainly from the TV, sounds seemed to extend throughout the room, making movies and music feel far more immersive. Even during a short listening session, I noticed background details and ambient effects that made the experience feel more engaging and realistic.

M7 Speaker Adds Real Depth and Clarity
I picked up the OLED C5 last year around Black Friday and have been pretty happy with it, but after hearing a lot of good things about LG’s Sound Suite speakers from friends who were at CES, I was curious to try the M7. I didn’t want to mount a soundbar under my OLED, and honestly, I’ve always felt the TV speakers needed a little more oomph—especially for movies and sports. I also stream a lot of music, so I was hoping this could be a solid all-around solution.
So far, the M7 has delivered. Music sounds really good—warm but still bright, with nice depth. The up-firing speaker adds noticeable imaging and helps fill the room more than I expected from a single wireless speaker. It doesn’t feel flat or boxed in at all.
Setup was painless. I followed the how-to video and prompts in the ThinQ app and had it connected to Wi-Fi quickly. LG definitely got this right. I had the speaker connected to my TV in minutes. One tip: make sure your TV firmware is up to date. Mine wasn’t at first, but that was my hunch—I updated it and everything synced up almost immediately.
The Atmos FlexConnect calibration through the ThinQ app was also straightforward. The speaker plays a chime and syncs automatically. I tested it out with a couple of movies and a Lakers game, and the added presence over TV speakers alone was very noticeable.
Streaming music is easy too, with both AirPlay and Google Cast over Wi-Fi, which I really appreciate.
Overall, this feels like a solid choice if you want to build toward a modular system and you’re already invested in the LG ecosystem. It adds punch where the TV speakers fall short without committing to a full soundbar setup.

Great unit
Connected easily to tv! Sounds great! I have an awkward shaped room and I can place these where it’s easy and they still sound fantastic!! Love this product! Will be buying the rest of the speakers.

Almost perfect
The sound is great; however, it occasionally cuts out after setting all my equipment to bitstream to ensure the best quality and to enable Dolby Atmos. I'm also disappointed with LG support. They told me that my LG suite supported the latest firmware to add a second W7, but after purchasing one, it doesn't support it yet.

Connectivity issues make it worthless
Sound quality is good, but the entire point of these is the wireless ecosystem. Which unfortunately has a lot of bugs. The WiFi issues are something LG must fix if they want to sell these. Speakers not connecting via DFS WiFi channel is a big issue. Many new routers don’t allow you to set diff ids for your WiFi. Then when you do connect this on 2.4ghz channel the connection keeps dropping. Leading to doing the recalibration process over n over. The speakers need to be able to handle 6ghz connection or multiple like most other modern devices.
