Maytag Washer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, I am happy with our new Maytag washer . . . at first it took a little time to remember how to use the digital start menu, but we are getting the hang of it . . . wash comes out nice & clean.
We plan to get the matching dry in a month or so.

Quiet machine

Great Features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this Maytag washer because of the look and features. It was difficult to learn how to operate it. This does not have the soft touch buttons, this has the hard button touch. It makes it harder to start and operate. Once I got the hang of it to start it, it washes clothes quickly. The spin cycle is very loud compared to other machines I've had in the past. So far, for the past 9 days that I've had it I like it but it is a learning process.

Missing instructions
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Washing machine works good so far. Too early to tell if it was a good investment. The problem I have with it there are literally not directions on its use. Had to search the internet to find the operating instructions. Would printing these and putting them in machine when you buy it cost Maytag too much money?? Once I downloaded and printed them I knew what the buttons were for and how to use them. Otherwise it would have been a guessing game. Still trying to get remote start to work, guess I'll have to call and see why my app won't connect. Stay tuned!

Bossy Machine
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our wonderful high end front loader died after many years so we decided on this top loader because of the big drum for bedding, the warranty, and what appeared to be it's sleek style and its simplicity. We did not realize how painfully convoluted it is to just get the machine to start for you. It is a very bossy product. So far we regret this decision, but do like the large drum. Should have studied more.

I sould have done more research.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't realize it doesn't have a rinse and spin cycle or a permanent press cycle. The washer didn't come with a user manual and the app won't add my machine so I'm having to guess as to how to properly use it.

The washer did not have fabric softener dispenser so I returned washer and purchased another washer MTW6200RW0 on October 3,2025 with softener dispenser. The dispenser is not working on new machine. Today October 10, 2025 the washer is not operating at all. Very disappointed with the Maytag washers.

Big problem with the start' pause button

I got a lemon
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The power button on the control panel does not work. I cannot get the washer to turn on using power button. When it does finally, turn on, it resets itself.
I did activate the remote feature and that did work. A replacement will be delivered in early November.
Once the washer actually turns on, it does clean well. Hoping the replacement will actually work.
