Happy with my new Maytag! from
Best washer I've ever used!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I bought our new Maytag washer a few months ago and I love it! It has so many choices that it always accommodates whatever I am washing, from the smallest load to the king sized down comforters on our beds. The washer is so easy to use, and the lock and unlock button opens the washer quickly if I need to add something to the load or accidentally dropped a sock in the hallway. Plus the see through top on our top loader is a really nice way to check on what's going on in the washer as it's moving through the cycle I'm using at the time. We're retired now, and it's definitely the best washer we've ever owned in our 55 years of marriage and washing clothes together!

Good Options and Cycle Speed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are pleased with the features and operation of this washer. It supports several necessary cycle and water level combinations. And it completes each load in around an hour. The clear lid and interior light are bonuses.

If you know, you know

Folks that complain about the dispensers, must not have done laundry prior to the 1990s and do not realize this prevents the machine from building up residue which later causes odors. The water faucet feature is great! The different cycles are nice. I would recommend it. I have only had it a week but lots of laundry done thus far. It got stains out of Gortex!

Wash cycles are done in a timely manner.

Gets the job done
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This purchase was a replacement for my 14 month old Maytag which quit working. This model is a more basic version of the one it replaced ( manual controls, no soap dispenser etc.). Thank goodness I purchased the extended warranty as after 2 repair attempts and over a month without a washer a credit for the purchase amount was sent to me.
The Pros: The deep fill actually covers clothes with enough water to “wash” them. It’s much easier to add additional items after starting the machine. The soft close lid, no more slamming sound.
The Cons: Several reviews mention the machine is noisy when in use, which I have found is true. However it is worth the trade off to me for cleaner clothing.

This Washer Deserves a Medal (and Maybe a Cape)
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Top Load Washer with Extra Power 4.8 cu. ft. is basically the superhero of my laundry room. Got mystery stains from the kids? It handles them like a pro. Pile of towels big enough to smother a small car? No problem.
The Extra Power button is like laundry magic. I don’t know what it does exactly, but I press it and things come out way cleaner. Honestly, I feel like I should be wearing a cape just using this thing.
Only warning: if you’re on the shorter side, you might have to lean in a bit like you’re doing laundry yoga to reach the bottom. Still worth it.
Bottom line: This washer doesn’t just clean clothes…. it saves sanity.

Great Washer

Haven’t used it much yet but love the quick wash and extra power option and extra rinse option and extra water options. Also appreciate the clear viewing window our last machine had dark glass that you couldn’t easily see into.

Easy to Use & Does a Great Job
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second Maytag washer I have bought-the 1st is in my main home and just bought the 2nd for my other home. I love how I can adjust the water level so that everything actually gets wet. It's a basic washer without all of the digital stuff on the front board. It's so easy to use and works great! Highly recommend this model!

LIKE IT !!

I'm old school and thought it had to have an agitator to clean the clothes. This one has a impeller , seems to do a good job of washing. I like the ease of getting clothes out and into dryer. I was worried about big /sheets etc getting clean. It has done a great job.

Maytag Washer 4.8 cu. ft.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Maytag top load washer with Extra Power 4.8 cu ft about one month ago. I love it so far. The washer is located on the main floor in the laundry room. I washed a king comforter in it and it didn't go out of balance. The top lid is clear which is nice. It doesn't have a fabric softener drawer, it was recommended to buy a Downy Ball. The washer does have a setting for regular wash and fabric softener wash, which is nice. The two men who delivered/installed both the washer/dryer were excellent. They set up the hoses, electric and made sure both machines ran and were balanced. They answered all questions that I had. I recommend both the washer and dryer.
