Quiet machine!

Great washer

Well worth the purchase
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was skeptical about buying this set, initially, to be honest! I have had much better cleaning results historically with agitators over not having one. I took the chance and went with it anyway and I couldn’t have made a better choice. Washer cleans very well, more than expected. It has many great features. The drier is excellent as well. Several settings to choose from. Outstanding results from both so far. Highly recommend. High capacity loads accepted by both units with no ladder cleaning than smaller loads if you have a larger family.

Some issues for the future redesigns
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this washer for a little over two weeks. I bought it because it was only 28 inches deep, so it just fit inside my alcove. I've washed maybe 4 loads of clothes. It works well. The clothes are clean, and I like that it has a sensor to measure the load and add just enough water. I wish it were also an energy saver appliance. I also wish the agitator would not allow the bedsheets to become a giant mushroom cap trapping all of the other clothes under them. I would like the settings to be easier to understand. I am never sure which one to use. The main problem is that I do not like the 2 tiny buttons that I have to press to start the machine. I feel they will break soon and I won't be able to get them fixed easily.

Pros vs cons
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] great company ...great warranty...good washer...good dryer. However my negatives are: washer louder then any washer I have ever had in 45 years...AND this model and matching dryer have no visible timer. I always have had a timer that gave me the amount of time to do "other things" before laundry need attention. Having said that...1st world problem...#not living in Gaza or Haiti....be grateful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this washer a few weeks ago. The online purchasing experience was easy. The installation crew did A terrific job. I washed my first load of clothes and returned to find water covering the laundry room floor. The rug was saturated. The Repairman is coming out Wednesday to take a look.

Good washer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this almost 2 months ago. Washer seems to be working good. It’s went out of balance a few times. Usually fixed by adjusting the load. This machine is pretty loud as well. The motor is what makes allot of noise. Overall I would recommend. I wish they made them like 30 years ago.

Not effective Washer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer is not very good at cleaning. First of all, it’s noisy. Second, I tried all the programs, and if you add half a load of clothes that includes a towel or a bulky item, the water level never soaks the clothes fully. I tried using the deep water fill and the bulky items or towels program, but it was no use. The clothes remain dry even after a 70-minute cycle. They can call this item anything except a washing machine. I think it can only be used for light clothes.

Machine is crap!! from
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got a lemon!!! Would not drain, would not spin… took 13 hours trying to get one load to drain. Buttons didn’t work, “faucet” would not work. This machine was cheaply made! I had a Maytag before this one for 12 years before the bearing went out!!!

Horrible experience with this washer!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brand new washer literally broke less than a week after purchase. Lid is locked and won’t open, water left in tub won’t drain even after trying to run a drain/spin cycle. Can’t get someone to come out and fix it until a week later and we have six kids and no way to do laundry. Not what I expected when I bought a “Maytag.” Pretty unhappy and dissatisfied with my purchase to say the least.All the Troy reshooting guides and recommendations were pretty useless.
